unless you've fished for 10+ years almost everyone over estimates the weight of their fish...usually by 2x

I gotta be doing something wrong, been using beads on my float setup pretty much in that exact location over the past week or two and not even a bite
People always focus on the spot but it’s all about water level, timing and bit of luck.

9ft or 10ft shimano clarus 8-12lb rated, 2000 series reel!
@Go2fishingbc Thanks for replying, man! Unfortunately they don't sell the Clarus in Europe. And wow.. just a 2000 series? Isn't that a bit on the small side? I use 1000 for trout, so I thought 3000/4000 for salmon.. I have so much to learn..
4 species? You forgot Sockeye. There also atlantic and cherry as well
Also question, why do you call it springer, assuming this was filmed during prime coho season (october) no spring chinook would be that chrome, that there is likely a late summer or fall chinook.
Yeah I guess but sockeye never opens on this river and we don’t have Atlantic here. This wasn’t filmed in peak coho. Lots of chromes around…
