Many thanks to Norman and Joey for their help today. I picked up a Rickenbacker 330-12 in Jetglo. It sounds awesome. Thanks again, guys, and have a great Christmas and 2025.
I just bought a few months ago a 2013 Japan made Strat that is one of only 25 made featuring "dragons" in Indian ink underneath an beautiful soft yellow body color with rosewood neck. It is absolutely perfect in fit and finish and the frets are also in perfect pitch every where. It is by far the best strat I have ever had and I have had em all!!!
I bought a Fender Strat Japan 68 reissue around 1994 hoping my fingers and brain would come together and create blues. They did not. But I had that guitar for 15 yrs and rarely played it. Eventually sold it on Ebay for more than I paid for it. I had a Korg M1, also did not become Elton John, and sold it for more than I paid for it after owning it for many years.
i’ve owned about a dozen mid 80s to early 90s MIJ strats, and I still have three. they are accurate reissues of the ‘54 Strat in body contour, pick up cavities and neck profiles with vintage style bridges and tuners. The import switches start going out immediately if you use them, but the MIJ pickups with staggered poles are perfectly fine.
Happy Holiday weekend everyone ❕I’m a Strat freak and my favorite one is a recent ST62 which fits my small hand perfectly. And, the guitar is as well made as my American Strats and my Custom Shop 59 Reissue. The Japanese Fender guitars 🎸 are fantastic. I hope people don’t figure that out so the prices stay low. They are awesome guitars. Michael, as always, did a great job with this one ✅. 👍☮️🌞🎸🎵⭐️
I had a 70s sunburst Japanese strat, it was fantastic. Sometime you just don’t know what you have. A good guitar is a good guitar. I also had a late 70s or early 80s? ( American made)three bolt neck with front loaded springs. Only one I’ve ever seen, no back plate. Fantastic guitar, I tried to chase that guitar down for years….
Great sounding guitar and very tastefully played by Lemmo(why aren't you a big name as artist/performer,i like you more than John Mayer in tone and feel). I prefer Japanese Fenders over American made ones.I own different Japanese Strat's and Tele's.I have 2 2013 JD serialnumber ST 54 Strat's,Ash bodies,V shape maple necks, modified to Alnico pick-ups (flabberquested that i found ceramic bar pick-ups and small pot's in it)the best 54 reissues,i ever played.I presume these kind of guitars will be more and more collectable over the years/in future.
My love of Mexico and Japan built Fender guitars is well documented. This appears to be another gem. I want. Can’t get there for a least a month-way north of y’all up in Butte county. I’ll come in next time down there but I won’t get my hopes up. Somebody gona snatch that one up way before. Put me on a list or something when these are available I am always interested.
Sounds almost like it's got that Swamp Ash sound, letting the body almost play into it, without actually eating the harmonics. But HEY I think a lot of fenders do, a little bit of give in them, not overly bright especially with the mid blend. For sure though that bridge pickup had a little kick to it. Great playing Lemmo, keep on it man way to showcase the guitar!!!
Hey Mark have you seen the new Elon single cut solid body electric guitars ? You can tell by the headstock shape they are not made by Gibson... lol They do look just like a Trump single cut solid body electric guitar.... lol
It’s like every time I see him play he shows me something I’d never think of doing on guitar, and does it so well
You and me both. I'm here for the playing. He's f.....g amazing.

Japanese Fenders are much better quality.
Even the case is molded ! Impressive before u open the case.❤👍🏻☮️
Your blues playing sounds a bit like Eric Johnson pretty good bro

Mine is probably around 20 yrs old sunburst

But he could play a guitar just like a ringing a bell. Go go…..
