2 tablespoons chicken flavor in water Boil chicken Save some of the water from the chicken Olive oil Red yellow green peppers and onion Cilantro 1 tablespoon Half can tomato sauce Then add chicken Onion powder Garlic powder Black pepper Adobo all purpose (optional) Put it in the empanada (goya) Use a fork for closure Then throw it in a pan of oil Flip flop till orange

I made this last year for the FIRST but somehow lost the recipe and this video. My empanadas turned out DELICIOUS. I used to make these "back in the day" for my daughter. She is now an adult and ate most of the ones that I made (10). So HAPPY that I found your video again. Now I have it bookmarked. Thank you so much for this easy DELICIOUS recipe.

Came across your video the other day because I'm trying to bring some of my culture into my home so my kids can be exposed to it and have great memories starting with food. I am half puerto rican and recently reconnected with my family in Bayamon and I've missed so much (30+ years) and I'm not connected to the island as much as I'd like to be but I'm trying to learn. I took my family to see the island and visit the family there and they really weren't prepared for the food and only wanted french fries and pizza so I've been wanting to make Puerto Rican meals so they can enjoy at home and it's more familiar to them when we go back to the island to visit again. I made your empanadillas and my family loved them. My daughter is very picky and she even tried so that's a win! I also made some arañitas. I plan to make them again! Thanks for the great video!

These were amazing!! I made both the beef and chicken. Thought I would have a hard time since it was my first but Evelyn you made it so easy to follow! I feel like you are my friend. They were so good that I was able to sell them at my son's concession stand for wrestling and they sold out. The only difference is that I used the smaller discs since I wanted to have more of them.

Made this and it was amazing!!! I had leftover meat from using all my discs. And even with tortilla chips the meat was delicious wow, you can eat this many ways!!
