Tiger Woods 12 was the best golf game EA ever made... they had the game-play mechanics almost perfect in that one..
I couldn't explain it but if was the best
Jack Dent ... Putting system was perfect! I liked the swing mechanics also when driving and approaching... It just felt polished and precise, if you hooked just a little it hooked realistically ... It's the only Tiger game that captured me with it's game-play... No Tiger game before it or after it felt the same... Just LOVE Tiger 12! Still play it today ... That and PGA tour 91 on my Super Nintendo... lol

Jack Dent .... Didn't put a lot of time in 04, played it a bit, Tiger 12 was the only one that really grabbed me .... LOVE Augusta and the game-play is just fun...

At any rate, I would love to play that course in real life.
I bought the game for the XBoxONE. It does have disappointments like graphics not up to par with current gen consoles, miniscule amount of courses, and an odd automatic upgrade system. Amping up the difficulty has no effect on XP earned making the effort to play a more realistic game in hopes of a greater reward pointless. The online play is minimal as well. However it does fill the void that was in place as far as next gen not having a true golf game within its first year and a half but it won't endure the test of time unless they realease numerous other courses through DLC and revamp some of the features through updates.
note2owns I agree this is probably the worst purchase I have had in the last 5 years, do not buy this game it is rubbish.

Are you forced to play with just roy or is their a option for others to choose from can you also make your own ? Also what about career mode inatead of random tournaments. Game looks good so far .

jklug11 I've seen a couple glitches in the game but they already announced there will be a Day 1 update so that should correct those little issues

I haven't played Rory but people who have played both seem to get bored of Rory fast. I think it looks way better, but the gameplay looks like it gets easy way too fast.

You can. Hit pause and go to the second page. There is an option to switch to all 18 holes. But when I did it I ended winning by like 38 strokes. It's not realistic
You can, you have to change that in the settings.

There's plenty of popping textures at least.
Ompalompa Lompa you can say that again, shadows and textures are popping and clipping all over the place, and why doe's Rory's face looks so weird? don't they do a face scan like for the main athlete's like most sports games? this better be alpha or beta version.

indeed, its werid. They're using the engine that battlefield is using but in Battlefield there aren't any popping textures and shaodws etc. Dissapoiting really
Ompalompa Lompa that is weird because battlefield is almost perfectly optimized on pc. people with no Gfx cards getting 30 fps on medium setting's. I'm getting a locked 60 on ultra at 1440p on my Gtx 970. I had Bf4 on Xbone aswell, it looked nice even though it was at 720p. but my main problem was the Frame dips in multiplayer it was almost unplayable at 64 players. it was like a Michael bay movie with all the slow down lol.
