    If you hate how defenses are stopping high flying offenses, then you simply hate football. Modern defenses catching up with modern offenses is a good thing.

      It's the offense fault. The NFL are like liberals. They don't fix the actual problem. They slap a bandaid on the injury instead of fixing it. It's making it stupid to watch when the defense can't touch the other team because they are afraid of flags and fines.

    Mel is right! In fact, the defense shouldn't be allowed to field 11 players! Think of how many times a player catches a pass and then immediately gets tackled! Defense should be limited to 5 players on the field! And they should have to let every play go for at least 6 yards before attempting a tackle!
    Like wtf are we even talking about right now?? Shout outs to Lombardi for bringing that 🔥though.

    Im annoyed with the whole debate. for the past 15 years the pass game has been boosted and boosted, rules have boosted the offensive game. Runningbacks have gone lower and lower on the totem pole of importance. I didnt hear anyone arguing we should put a 12th defender out there. Or empty backfields should be disallowed blah blah blah. just do your job. There was just a 97 yard bomb in the vikes 9ers game. there was a bomb in the dolphins jags game last week. Its not the defenses fault half the quarterbacks arent ready to start, and the offensive coaching is no longer leagues in front of defensive coaching and schemes. such a stupid idea.

    If you’re only allowed to single high safety you get more bombs thrown and more points on the board and then everybody has to play Man, Cover 3, or a variation like Cover 9 which is really just Cover 1 robber. It stretches the defense and if you have any o line, mfs can go crazy at QB every week. Just another way to handicap the defense in the name of 42 to 38 final scores

  • @LightiningHobo

    If the problem is more practice time, then you should extend the season to 10 months and have teams play each other week. More time to practice, more time to physically recover and more time to scout opposition. It will make for much better offenses.

    Sounds like what Madden gamers, trying out the NFL, would complain about. It's 11 vs 11 out there. Where they seem to have an advantage, they also have a deficit. Find the weaknesses and exploit them....and fans on rookie mode can just stop watching. 4-6 used to be a dominant defense not used by anyone anymore without a rule change. ADAPT! Stop crying!

    • @jmgonzales7701
      @jmgonzales7701 Месяц назад

      Tbh a madden style game would be fun to watch. Like a balance of pass and run, adjusting to what the defense gives then play for clock like what madden does😂 like having a balance of 20 passes pgg and 10-15 runs ppg. Not too much of everything just precise and high stakes.

    They never talk about how Cover 2 opened up the TE position. Just negative drivel. Like that's why a Kelce, a Gonzales, a Gates, an Andrew blossomed so. My opinion, the TE position and the unused FB receiver was greatly benefited by Cover 2.
    Also great for TE, the mobile QB.

  • @Steven-iy8nn
    @Steven-iy8nn Месяц назад

    Cover two is easy to beat you have to run up the middle and use your tight ends,they give you the middle so take the middle but you can’t cover the middle or run up the middle when you have no full back and you’re all running three wide four wide sets that makes cover too easy. Why would you even have your safety up towards the line of scrimmage If everyone’s running three wide receivers,formations make the game. Beat cover 2by running up middle, that brought John lynch up to stop it and opened up the wideouts.

    *Facts* :
    🏈2024 Baltimore Ravens = 1st in Offensive Yards (4th in Passing, 6th in Rushing)
    🏈2024 Baltimore Ravens = 32nd in Penalty Yard Margin
    " _Lamar Jackson needs to be under center. [Yet,] He's out there in shotgun; Derrick Henry is -- [Lamar] would run bootlegs as well as anybody, but they don't put him under center. We've just become a copycat league. Get the quarterback -- Derek Carr [(ie, the model QB)] has been under center more than any quarterback in the league_ ."
