I own the sister to this camera, the Z50. To tell the truth I wish I had gone with this model for the reasons you described. Both have essentially the same sensor and internals but this one seems to inspire one to take photos with the nostalgia it was intended to create. The Z50 is a great everyday camera but the Zfc is an inspirational one that adds that film camera vibe to its user.
