One of my biggest dreams has always been visiting New York. After so many years of not beong able to, I went to Manhattan this year. In a really hard part of my life this city made me feel like happiness was still possible, that there was a beautiful world out there. That place just made me feel some kind of way I could never explain. One day, we decided to visit the Upper West Side. Just as I was about to leave I see King Princess had just released this song. Next thing I know I had the most magical day of my life. Now months have passed, and I still can't listen to this song without crying my eyes out. This is maybe the only thing that reminds me so much of the feeling of being there, like in a dream. The melodies and the lyrics are so close to my heart. This is why I love music. Some feelings can only be explained by it. I don't know if anyone is still reading this, but thank you so much King Princess. You gave me the best gift ever and you don't even know it.
