Crafting Deerslayer Two, Part 3

In this video I’m crafting the walnut brush nocks of my second Deerslayer longbow, osage selfbow. In this part, The original Deerslayer bows were crafted by Nels Grumley who went to work for Fred Bear in 1938. The Deerslayer was just one style of ‘all wood’ bows Nels crafted until the mid-forties. Nel’s bows ushered in modern laminated bows. Check out my website goldenwoodbows.com
