Someone said to me that in median, the "L" should be the lower Limit of class limit , not from class boundary, kindly clear this doubt.

No.
We only work with class boundaries for median and mode calculation....

If you require to find median and there are class limits in the question..
You have to convert those class limits into class boundaries.
