HI! I’ve been watching your content, and I really enjoy your enthusiasm for weightlifting! However, I’ve noticed some issues with your clean and snatch technique that might explain why you’re often missing lifts in the same way.
When you make contact, instead of brushing and letting the bar rise or driving it upward with your legs, you tend to hit your thighs with the bar. This makes the bar move in an arc rather than a straight line, often swinging forward. Additionally, instead of driving with your legs, it looks like you’re almost rowing the bar up with your arms, which is not ideal.
In the snatch, since you’re not extending fully or driving upward, your body and arms end up carrying the bar overhead in a way that can limit your progression. Another point is your starting position-when you lift the bar, make sure to keep your chest up, head straight, and eyes forward. Avoid being hunched or looking down; instead, focus on staying upright and keeping your posture strong throughout the lift.
You can see all of this clearly by watching professional weightlifting on TV. Observing their techniques, especially how they maintain posture and drive the bar with their legs, will give you a clear understanding of these fundamentals.
I’m saying this with all respect because I think with a few adjustments, you’ll see much better results. Poor technique might eventually prevent you from progressing with heavier weights. Remember, it’s the legs that drive the bar, and the arms should only guide it. Keep working hard-I look forward to seeing your improvement!
    Best regards,
