Love you guys Fouad 🙏🙌 Huge difference you bring in these Podcast. Life changing for many 🤍 Massive respect To James for sharing on his struggles. Mad Love & Respect brother 🙏
I can relate with James so much its crazy. The anxiety of leaving the house. Having so many situations or questions that i dont know which one to handle first so i shut down. It makes your daily activities extremely difficult at times.
I can relate with James so much , I recently read a quote from Edgar Allan poe that made a lot of sense for us overthinkers. ''I remained too much inside my head and ended up losing my mind.''
I love watching you guys talk about anxiety. I always feel so alone when I’m having my “episodes” and hearing you guys discuss it makes me know I’m not.
James seems like the best human. When fouad said he was surprised that James experiences anxiety because he comes across as “stoic.” It’s called duality. As humans we can experience two completely different emotions at the same time. You can be stoic and have anxiety.
Crazy how much I relate to the conversation about getting worked up and not going somewhere, then regretting it later. Appreciate how open you guys always are

Why don’t you just have a bite. Especially in prep. If the family I’m going to see gets it I go. If not I try not too. Love the realness you all bring to this. Thank you!!

Not only speaking about Fouad, but a lot of people: why do people that have both cats and dogs, show their dogs on Instagram and talk about how much they love them - which is great of course, but don’t post about their cats on Instagram or talk about how much they love them? I hate to see it, because my cats are extremely loving and affectionate. Chill as fuck and love them to death.
This one's for James. I hope you read it brother. A couple of years back, I completed my bachelor's in engineering and started preparing all in for the most prestigious exam in my country, also touted by many as the world's toughest. The exam takes place in 3 stages. I knew I had it in me to crack it. Didn't take a job, had the long term goal in mind. 1st attempt, I couldn't. 2nd , I went all in. Put myself in a shell, every minute dedicated to anything else seemed to put myself away from my goal. From clocking 12-14 hours everyday to just going out for groceries and the gym ,I pushed myself so much I got jitters before the exam and ended up doing way less than I could have. 3rd and my current attempt , I went back to the drawing board and started to work on the right formula, the happy medium wherein I'll still push hard but not make it a matter of life and death. I took the exam a week back . Don't know what the result might be but I know I gave my best shot. I felt a moment of relief , for there was nothing else I could do. Somewhere deep down, I know that if I'm in shape , both physically and mentally, whatever I did in the paper would be enough to get me through. As a well wisher , friend and someone who's learnt a lot from you, I'll just say one thing. Don't make things so hard for yourself, because it isn't. You're a bodybuilder who has it in him to make it big. Just let yourself open to the possibility of letting go once in a while and pulling it back with double the intensity. I know you've been through all of this. Setback brings in a psychological barrier, but you need to give yourself a possibility to succeed without being absolutely sure that you can ensure it or not.
Love the conversation at about 50 minutes in. Growing up isn't about not making mistakes it's about the ability to understand there is risk/potential for a mistake but making it anyway and being able to understand and live with consequences much easier without the anxiety. So true, felt close to home now that im in my 30s.
