Strolling Through Downtown Petoskey, Michigan | Little Traverse Bay

- Petoskey is nestled along the shores of Little Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan. Petoskey's charming Victorian town is beautiful and relaxing. Downtown Petoskey has over 170 shops and restaurants. While there we did some strolling of downtown Petoskey checked out the shops, listened to some street music then grabbed some lunch and ate it at Pennsylvania park which is situated in the middle of downtown. To end our day we took a walk at Bayfront park which is right along Little Traverse Bay.

3:20 that's my great-grandfathers boat! It's so nice to see it's still there and a respected part of history in Petoskey. I was named after his middle name, Blaine. He was a great man. I've considered moving there in the near future. It's such a beautiful place.

I grew up in petoskey and didn’t appreciate how beautiful it is until i moved away after college...

The bay looks so pretty. Bay Front Park is nice. What a beautiful day! The marina looked like a great place to walk around to get a feel for the area. Those huge flower planters with the burgundy flowers were so pretty. Beautiful river with waterfall and rapids.

Very nice, the steady frame work is beautiful, must be using a stabilizer gimbal. Would have liked to have had a shot of your gear.
Thanks you. At the time I shot this video I was using my iPhone 11 and a mini tripod. I do have a gimbal but never use it. I now use the canon G7x mark ii. With the manfrotto mini tripod. That is the only equipment I use at this time. Enjoy your day. Thank you for watching the video. Tom.

@@tomvalpo9361 there are very strong opinions on these issues, unlikely to convince anyone. Also depends on your risk tolerance ( you are 12 years old or 72, the consequences are very different).
You can get infected outdoors, all someone has to do is be infected and cough a heavy dose on you. Chances of that, VERY low.
How you protect oneself and others, it has political overtones. I am all for doing my civic duty.

My wife and I are heading there in a week, would you recommend anything in particular?
There isn’t anything in particular that I could recommend. My wife and I just like walking down the Gaslight shopping district. They have very nice places to eat,and some nice shops. You can the pedestrian tunnel over to Bayfront park which is right on the bay. Overall Petoskey is just beautiful place to spend the day. Take care
