This is probably my most ambitious video yet - I cover almost everything you need to know in this Tighnari Showcase video - I went through many, MANY different Tighnari weapons and artifacts, tested about 10 different Tighnari builds, checked how good is Tighnari DPS and ultimately - I want to present you this video as one stop solution to decide if Tighnari is worth it.
In addition to this, I've tested about 15 different best Tighnari teams, examined what Tighnari skills can do and even dug deep into how much investment Tighnari needs. For those who can't decide to pull or skip
tho he'll be in the standard banner, you'll need to lose the 50/50, avoid Diluc, Jean, Mona, Keqing and Qiqi to get Tighnari, which as you can see, has a very low probability.
but of course, if you don't like him, then skip.
OK you convinced me, I've been torn over pulling/skipping all week. I'm early on hard pity, so even if I don't get him I'll still be guaranteed for Ganyu.
Don't forget the 5 star weapon too.
Lol don't get your hopes up. I bet he will be rare AF even in standard. Might as well as to get him asap and then in the future when you lose 50/50 he'll be C1 easy.
I will just skip. Game is not doing a good job in making me want to pull and it is terrible to try and gear characters. I got 41k primo's and counting!
And let's not forget. If you try rolling on the standard banner for him, you'll also have to avoid ALL 8 5star weapons on that banner too

Its obvious that he is meant to be a benchmark character for dendro, nothing too complicated, but something that can scale later into the games life cycle once all the other dendros start cropping up, like Bizhu

From what I've heard, Baizhu will be a dendro healer, and given the fact that they didn't show that many dendro 5 stars, I think he'll be a consistant option until Al Haitham comes out
I've got him on the first day of Sumeru release and let me tell you, he's BADASS. I like his gameplay so damn much and his damage is really great (if you're not trying to compare him to the op characters like Ganyu or Hu Tao). Not for a second I've regretted pulling for him

I was very impressed with him in his trial; his cooldowns are quick, his skill + 3 charged attack combo is satisfying, and he applies Dendro really well. I was already planning to pull for him regardless what everyone else said, but I'm glad more people are seeing his value.

For those who wants to get him by losing 50/50, you need to realise that there are total of six 5 stars. The probability will be very low. Like you need to be very lucky to get him.

I love how you manage to make a realistic content yet not killing the hype about the character. You shared your original low expectations and said you got surprised after, without telling people "he is the most broken characater ever you gotta pull for him". You show him with average equipment so it's more relatable to the public while giving us a peek of how he would feel with min-maxed stats. Also, the edition format you use reminds me of journalistic Video Games TV shows I used to watch back in the 00s and I really appreciate it.

I think he's super adorable and his play style is so fun! I sorta like that he's only really playable with very specific teams because it's going to force me to build other characters who I've been ignoring for months.

the way I see it is that I can wait for his kit to be fully analyzed and to have guides on him so I can build him properly when he reruns, even pre farm for him(since to me it looks like he is gonna be a main dps). Tighnari is more of a “love the character design so I want him”, and I don’t want to wait for him like I’ve been waiting on Diluc and Jean for more than a year and a half
I have a feeling that even as a f2p, you could get both Tighnari (now) and Cyno (on 3.1). There are events on both versions that give a lot of primogems and not to mention Sumeru being a new region which gives a lot of primogems as well.
However, yes, it would be difficult since there's the 50/50 problem and the high pity problem.
I wish you goodluck on your pulls though and I hope you get them early pity!

I got a c1 tighnari and it's an absolutely crazy constellation it gives 15% crit rate when u charged his atk it's op and u can deal 3300 dmg when dendro and hydro react with each other, gl everyone trying ti get him!!!!

When he is a standart character, he will have probability of 8.3% on the event banner and 6.25% on the standart banner. Just consider it for a moment if you do want him.
Every other character will have 0%. In the long life of the game I'm certain he will drop. Plus I'm hording rn for 3.3, and if I do miss 50/50 he has the potential of not making it feel like shit along with Jean.
@@Yoyo-sy5kl and 50% (or 100%, depends) again at the rerun, which Tighnari will probably never get. But I am not trying to persuade anyone who does not want him as much. I really aimed for those who do.

I really wanted tighnari before sumeru update. I think I got blessed by the rng because i got him at 3 pity and won my 50/50. Afterwards I got a crit rate gilded dreams with crit dmg 2 atk and em substat. I will enjoy building and testing him out!

if you dont have daddy zhong and you pull for tighnari first then i dont feel bad for you. daddy zhong is almost a must for many casual's teams. if you dont need zhong for any teams then you're prob not a casual but a tryhard or troll.

main problem I have with him is that with all the teams you listed, all of them don’t have a healer/shielder which just adds a whole new layer of difficulty to him
saying this as a pretty good dodger by the way.. I mean I have no problem with dodging but it just makes everything so much more complicated bc you have to pull off combos whilst looking out for enemies and dodging.. and I play on laptop which makes everything easier but I can’t imagine how hard its going to be for mobile players
and I don’t really view genshin as this sweaty hardcore pve game, when I play I usually just want to have a good time and be as comfortable as possible
You got a point. I suck at dodging so I mostly rely on healing since I got no Zhongli. I was thinking of Tighnari, Yae Miko, Dendro Traveler, and Dori but this team is most likely a subject to change since the other characters are still not released. But I'll still stick with Electro2x+Dendro2x team that has a healer.
I love how since the video you made talking without a script you seem to be more confident on using a more natural voice, and I think it's great, it has energy but isn't overhiping things, congrats on that
i have been playing genshin since the release of this game....and i still dont know how this atk dmg crit and other stuff works...am i the only on who still spams the the mouse and keys?
I pulled Tighnari, and with what I had I put him with Dendro Traveler and Ayato, and Zhongli as the last to not get hit by the bloom bombs. I found it quite effective for my casual style of play. His skill can temporarily crowd control, albeit not as potent as some other characters, but it does help in a pinch.
I saw so many videos on Tighnari being disappointing, so when I got him on my first 10 pull I didn't want to build him. Then I used him to find materials to ascend Collei, and was forced to fight. With C0, level 1 Hunter's Bow and 0 artefacts at level 20, he did more damage than my main team's DPS at level 70. So uh, I'm gonna be building him hehe

@@greyviscount.78 No, my full team before coming back to the game was a Qiqi, Fischl, Childe and Chongyun, all at 60 except Chongyun at 70, and then I switched to Electro traveler, Chongyun, Qiqi and Razor to do all of Inazuma once I came back, all at the same levels except the Traveller at 70, and now I use Dendro Traveler, Tighnari and Qiqi at level 70, and Fischl at level 60
Edit: so my main DPS were Chongyun, Childe and Razor

@@greyviscount.78 His basic attack damage does nothing, but Quicken, Aggravate and Hyperbloom all do a ton and can eliminate a group of enemies in moments when all used together. So really it's not his own damage, but he's the one who causes it
this was pretty helpful! I got him the other day in a lucky one-pull on standard, so I'm learning to use him. He doesn't do much damage yet since he's low level with meh artifacts and level 2 talents, but he has a lot of potential, and he's easy and fun to use! I really enjoy playing with him, and i hope anyone who gets him feels the same way! If i got his constellations by losing a 50/50, I'd be less upset than i would be if it were another one of the standard 5 stars lol! My Tinghari, Fischl, Kuki, Zhongli (flex) team is pretty well, and he keeps up against high level bosses or enemies with only two built characters on that team, and a level 40 kuki!

I just lost my 50/50 😢😭
I’ve began to have doubts on either pull for him or just wait for Ganyu to show up again, because as you just said, his dmg is quite low without electro characters to support him, although i do have a Raiden and a Zhongli for him im still not sure if i want to. What makes me want to pull for him is that i might regret not pulling because he might be a very good character later on when new characters get added and he just so happens to be very good in that team comp AND yes he will be in the standard banner later on and you can lose your 50/50 on him AT SOME POINT but it isn’t guaranteed since its a 1 to 5 chance. It might take you up to a year or so to get him upon losing your 50/50, if your lucky enough you might just get him in the next time you lose your 50/50 in the 3.1 (i think) update. What makes me want to just wait for Ganyu is, well, as you all have probably seen Ganyu is a very good unit. She is one of the most reliable, strong and overall good character, rather than always needing a character supporting you to boost your low solo dmg, Ganyu’s dmg is still very high even without support and the fact that she can charge her bow quickly just makes her a better option and i have also been wanting Ganyu ever since her rerun because i couldn’t get her at the time (lack of primos since im f2p). Both of them are pretty fun overall and Tighnari is very unique, he is indeed CLOSE to perfect, just a couple more pushes and he’s perfect. I have guaranteed soft pity and i think one more ten pull and ill get 5 star, i need someone to decide for me on who i should pull for geez 😭, but i think im gonna have to wait for his banner to be almost over for more videos and showcases on him, who knows i might just actually pull him and set aside Ganyu.. or not.

Ganyu if you want her to literally carry you through the game even tho her gameplay will be kinda boring…Tighnari you can still get from standard even if the chances are low…
Stop picking for meta and get the character if you like them or not. I'm new, but I'm still not wishing until the Dendro Archon... I might wish a couple of times to hit the 10 wish guaranteed 4-star and that's it.
I'd pick Tighnari, since you're screwed once he's on standard. Goodluck hitting the 1/12 chance every 90 wishes, worst case scenario, it takes you 1080-ish wishes to get a standard banner Tighnari.
standar banner has 5 star weapons on the pool too so the chance is even lower
I am here because I was pulling on the Wanderer banner and lost my 50/50 to him. I honestly tried to pull him in HIS banner, but he didn't come home, and now he decides to come home in Scara's banner, it makes me so annoyed lmao. But he's cute and I like him a lot too so now I want to build him properly.

I love his gameplay! I’ll have to skip him for now but I’m seeing so many people calling his gameplay boring. I love the combos involved with speeding up his charged shots, and honing arrows are my favorite mechanic in any game. Can’t wait to get him one day! He’s not a priority but he’s great, and whenever I get him I’ll definitely build him. My level one Amos bow will finally be useful :)
I was pulling for Collei and of course I was expecting to pull him but I got him twice in my 60 pitty plus a Collei that was dope!

Ahhh I decided to pull on him even though he's going into tge standard banner, his design and everything is just adorable and I really fell for his character. (And since I don't particularly want any of the next rerun or new characters, aside from Scaramouche) And I got really lucky too, I got him at 50 pulls and even got hunters path at 30 pullsss 😭🤚

Just lost my 50/50 on the Kazuha banner and got him. God Damnit. After rocking out my Nahida and doing what I could to start building Kirara....I cant even imagine when I could possibly start spending resources on him. Plus I have enough bow characters that I've raised and use a lot. Oh well.

Every video I’ve seen of tighnari so far has a title that goes like “TIGHNARIS AMAZING!!!!!” And then the person making the video says “he’s average and terrible on his own”
He relies a LOT on em. I would consider him a decent unit.
My account have all characters except for Mona for two years, the pain was indescribable. I got Mona today when I was pulling for tighnari and I have to say it to everybody, don’t try to save primo if you do like him it’s just not worth to bet on that

I got Raiden as my 1st 5 star and i thought I’m doomed when I loose my Nahida 50/50 banner to Tighnaro, turns out im so lucky He goes so well my Raiden it’s no joke
I got him off the standard banner and was pleasantly surprised. I don't even have him fully invested yet and he carried a Raiden, C6 Fishcl, ZL team to 36 stars. I'm liking the playstyle, but I could see where it might cause an epileptic seizure! Constantly zooming in and out with fast paced aim shots and 1,000 flashes of things going everywhere. Overall, I'm pretty happy with him.

Before I got Tighnari, Amber was my only archer, so I was elated to be able to hunt more effectively without lighting the grass on fire.
With tighnari being a standard, I hope we get more good 5 stars to the standard banner.

I think after here 9:12 you can give us some data to show that every build has some different dmg when CA or overall so it would be more clear comparison to which build and weapon and also with what stat that is the most efficient and optimal.
I have tried mona skill+Tighnari Burst+mona burst+ HuTao burst.. And DMG was good.
The moment I saw his gameplay trailer, I knew I had to get him... Didn't regret it, love his kit and animation.

Is there a reason you completely ignore the dendro-pyro combo? It causes massive burning explosions which are visually fun, and you can then go in electric to blow it all up. But I never calculated how much it hurts

I had a chaotic wishing session. In one 10 pull I got diluc then tighnari. I kept pulling after to get a copy of collei instead I got another copy of tighnari. I kept pulling and just before I ran out of primos I got one copy collei.
He's strong. My question is, is this the only banner that he'll be appearing at? He won't get any reruns anymore since he will be in the standard?

There’s still a high probability that he’ll have a rerun since keqing was added to limited banners before. Not to mention double banners are becoming common due to having more 5 stars.

i feel like pyro is a good option because in my current team with hu tao collei and xingqui and benny i can achive pretty good damage my creating the spores and then useing burgon idk how to spell it but yeah you can basically create a bomb with the spores for extra dmg and if you have collei or tighnari contstantly applying dendro and then kokomi or xingqui or other hydro units you can have pretty consistant damage and with the limited amount of spores you can make exploding them will allow you to make more

I want some opinions on if I should pull for tighnari or for zhongli or if I should wait for ganyu, I have none of them and I'm f2p with 66 pity and a guaranteed. If I could get some opinions that would be great and thank you in advanced.
Overall, gameplay wise, Zhongli definitely more versatile. You can just slap hp% artifact and make him shielder+burst support.
But if you like Tighnari more and don't give a damn about meta, then pull for him

Tighnari is by far very mid. I think Mihoyo did it on purpose since they are adding him to the standard banner. Plus he is only an “ok” DPS who will probably will get power creep easily in the future by another exclusive dendro unit. So Zhongli is the best option for your account as he brings a kit that will help you acc more. BUT if you don’t give a Fck about meta or worth in terms of characters and you like the fury twink then go for him lol

if you already have two dps' pull for zhongli, if you're still lacking in dps pull for ganyu, tighnari's scalings is really low for a 5 star, and spread reaction isn't really on par with melt or vape reactions

He is ok. I guess the reason he is a bit mid is because he will go on the standard which I can understand. I dont think he is an absolute pull. But with that said I REALLY hope in the future Mihoyo does make a worth wild dendro DPS character :(
looking at how dendro works, i think it will works better as enabler/support/sub dps instead, just like hydro
Does any of you guys have some insights about Hamayumi Tighnari? I was thinking about it because it's one of my few levelled bows and I think the passives work out kinda good on him, charged shot boost + double value if you have his ult up, which will be most of the times he's on field since it's so cheap, and you can get value from the charged shot boost since you're always unloading the 3 quick shots before the burst. The only think I can think will be kinda bad it's the ATK% substat, since he will not need that much to get value from spread
There are many good bows for him, I wouldn't choose slingshot because of the low base atk, but the stringless, the battle pass bow or windblume ode I think are some very good options.
I took my guaranteed zhongli since I saved enough pulls (60 pity guaranteed then 20 pulls saved), hopefully I’ll get lucky and get tighnari
Just got Tighnari the other day on the standard banner & oh my goodness it’s SO EASY to level him up! The dendro chicken goes down in less than a minute 😅
I never played a bow user ever lol but gave him a shot cause we have the same birthday. He’s pretty fun

Currently watching this after version 3.1, at which point Tighnari's added to the standard rotation, and I lost pity while trying to pull Cyno.
I lost my 50/50 to Tighnari today while pulling for Itto 😭 never been so happy to lose one hehehe
