I think both are actually good. because the quality is on par its just different the way the EQ their mics. So I had a choice right now, I would get the comica because its wireless and it has internal battery which can be good or bad in the long term. Battery wire, if you use both wired, youll get about the same but deity just dont have a battery indicator. Basically a display that gives you information. So right now I would go for Comica VM30. theyre both 48Khz 24bit
@enerico thanks for checking, I was a little surprised when u said they are on par. And could you BTW advice me a recorder for the future? I'm thinking of zoom h8. Cause I make podcasts, there are plans of musical livestreaming etc.
@@arthur7295 yea my bad. Deity S mic 2 is better just because of the XLR input it's better dynamic range hence quality. For that type of projects, it's either you get a designated setup with multiple mics or the H8 for sure, u can't get wrong with that. But if you have the budget music live streaming if you want the top notch, u need to have a designated mics for each and an interface and mixer.
@enerico I'll buy all the mics later, as the budget comes But I think that getting good recorder now, can save money and time further. And now it's a bit tricky choice. Just because I have money only for mic. And if I take deity, I even don't know how to use it without an xlr input.
@@Jonjs99 depends tbh. Because based on experience regular shotgun mics can pick up sound but it has a lot of noise in it. That's why usually there's a designated audio holder or recorded for scene.
Thank you for stopping by my small channel, really appreciate it 🙏
I hope your channel takes off soon. With this level of production quality, it is bound to. All the best!
Thank you sir. I will definitely put more time for the long form videos@@sahajtloi
Good review. I don’t like the white noise in the sound test. I guess that can be removed in post.
Can I record directly into the receiver?
@@annobidigwe7079 no, it doesn't have internal storage
Great edit.
Thanks dude
I wonder how does it compare to the shotguns V10 and V20
I haven't tried those so I'm not sure but usually mics that are 24bit are almost the same.
How can you monitor the sound? Do you still have to connect your headphones to the camera or does the vm30 have its own headphone jack?
It does have its headphone jack for monitoring or your camera as well
Hi! Im choosing between deity s mic 2 and comica vm30. Is deity much better in your opinion?

Oh sorry Idk why I compared it with deity d3 but if it's the deity S mic 2 that has a XLR plug. In terms of quality, I would go for that.

Is that white noise I hear?
which part?
I don’t have any other mic so I am planning to buy one. Should I buy this mic as my first mic?
If you're in a budget this one is good, it's comparable with deity mic but this one is also wireless. If it's wired u get more battery
@@enerico Thanks for your response.
I think purpose of shotgun mic is to take sound from 50m far
Yep it does work on 50m
@@enerico Not about wireless but about sound pickup from far, I see shotgun mics in similar way as parabolics

@@enerico All roads lead to zoom?
