  • 7/4 is so fun. And strange. I added a lot of panning to this one, as well as the piano chords to add a more dramatic feel. For allegro, I really wanted to bring out the drama and urgency of the final case of Dual Destinies. Maybe the breaks are a little too funky, but I really like how this one came out!
Honestly, I didn't really like this testimony theme when I first played the game way back when, but now it's one of my favorites. I just think the game doesn't use allegro as much as it should, as the moderato is very calm, bouncy and thought provoking. Sometimes the situation is a bit more dire.

    You never fail to amaze!
I absolutely agree with you, the DD cross themes are some of the best! And really underrated too; it sucks that they don't get remixed more. But that's why I'm so glad you're putting in the work like this!
Excellently kept the inquisitive, slower pace of the moderato with the more electric instruments, while adding a new funk to the allegro as well, without losing the suspense. Awesome work as always!

      Great feedback!
I think they don't get remixed a lot because of the time signature and the focus on strings.

@@pianomansams I always thought it's because DD isn't as popular or well-received as the OG trilogy (even if I love it personally), but it's interesting looking from the angle of someone actually making this stuff. I guess some AA tracks really go haywire with the time signature; I hear that moderato/allegro 2002 is also pretty weird with that.

I love odd time signatures, especially 7/4. This has a great groove, nice work as always!

I think the DD Examination themes are good, but they always felt so simple. That was a thing with a lot of DD soundtrack honestly; it felt as if it didn't have quite as much depth as I was used to. Orchestrations like these definitely bring out the strength of the melody, though.

In this case, it is strange how these moderato/allegros don't include a B or C section like the others do.
