I tried them on in store the other day thinking about getting them how has the durability been. My only concern is that they might not be that durable about how many miles have you put into these and how have they been so far after a couple months?
In my opinion they are quite durable. I’m. Or sure what mileage you’re putting in. I’m more of a sprint intervals and plyos type of user, and they’ve held up nicely. They are comfy enough to wear casually too so I’ve probably put more walking miles than running miles. What’s your usage?
In my opinion, it depends on the use. More distance oriented? Sprint intervals and more general use? The adidas Solar Control has a long history going back to when it was the Supernova and AdiStar Control, both of which had pre-Boost and Boost versions-the non-Boost AdiStar line with Adiprene+ cushioning going way back to the early 2000s. I’m a big fan of the Supernova/Solar line because it’s a shaper return on energy and ground feel. The NB Propel v4 is soft, even with the plastic plate. Responsive, but softer and lighter than the Solar. If you want a sharper, snappier energy return, and don’t need a plush landing, go with the Adidas Solar Control. If you want a softer, more plush feel and a smoother energy return, the Propel is awesome.
@@RDQLUS Amazing answer, thanks. I am a runner and have been doing marathons for 12 years. I train 3 times a week more or less 20km. I also training in the mountains and have trail shoes. I have always used Adidas, but now I am also looking for comfort and cushioning, but not as much as the novablast. And I also want them to last, the continental sole is eternal, I don't know about the NB ones. I would keep both sneakers, but as Macleod said "There can be only one."
Thank you! I appreciate you saying that. They fit exact. Great snug but still roomy toe box. The FuelCell is crazy soft and that’s why I have typically gravitated away from it, because I need a more terse response and not the mushy sinking feeling. But the plate is stabilizing and perfect. Carbon fiber plates are unforgiving and often have the S-curve, which bothers my long big toe, but this plate is just enough, just right. They are a perfect mix of soft and fast.
These, hands down. But that’s me and my needs. I just think it’s too versatile to even compare to most shoes out there with more hype and better supposed features. It’s a sleeper champ!
I’m the opposite. I had them both on at the same time in the NB HQ store. I like the structure of the Propel a bit more, although I will be grabbing the Rebel. The SC trainer is is a totally different category, and I cannot wear Carbon fiber plates due to a turf toe from years ago. The plate in the propel us TPU and not as curved. Everyone’s foot is different.
Great sneaker, and affordable
Very good price to value ratio.
Def one of the most in-depth shoe reviewers
I really appreciate that! Thank you 🙏🏾 This comment means more to me than likes and subscribers. Truly 🙌🏾🤙🏾
6 mm drop, 31mm stack in the heel and 25 mm stack height in the forefoot
Thank you! It’s one of the sneakiest high performance runners I’ve ever had. So good!
great reviews bro!
Thanks bro!
Great review, just ordered my pair
Big thanks for the view! Check back and let me know what you think of them.

What do you think...Propel V4 or Adidas Solar Control?

@@nightieres a Highlander reference?! Respect!!!! (I have Duncan’s katana on my mantle)
Well done. I understood all your review points. Keep them coming. Will you tell us how they run?
Thank you! I appreciate you saying that.

Hola, sirven para corredores de 80 kilos y son cómodas y rápidas?,gracias.
Yes, they are good for 80kg runners. The support is very stable and the stack is not too high.
Compared to novablast 3, which one would you recommend ?

What color way you got?
I believe it’s just called white/black/orange
@@RDQLUS thanks! Looks dope
I like the rebel or Sc trainer fuelcell much more, not this propel fuelcell. I tried it and not buy it.

Good shoe bad colors
Haha I would agree… the gray, yellow and orange is a bizarre combination across the whole line. That’s why I went with the white.
