2:10 Amy: Are you alright? Sonic: Come on!! Who do you think you’re talking about? - You know the writing is inconsistent when Amy forgot Sonic was supposedly dead for 6 months. And Sonic gloats about his “greatness” when everyone thought he was dead.
This is what Sonic Forces needed. Even if the story was still meh, at least the gameplay & level design would be fun and have replayability. This looks amazing.
@@LongplayScrapbook i wanna see a longer version of network terminal, metropolitan high way, egg gate luminous forest null space mortar canyon. fuck the classic sonic stages he didn’t matter in the game tbh in my opinion
@@SK-RetroGaminghey good news for you actually, network terminal was one of the first levels to get an extension, luminous forest may not have gotten an extension, but the level design for the most part has been completely overhauled, Mortar canyon is planned to get an extension, and most levels have gotten upgrades to their level design and some have gotten extensions like with sunset heights here. If I recall correctly the full list of extensions currently is: Sunset heights(second half added) Network terminal(beginning half added) Aqua road (beginning half added) Arsenal pyramid (beginning half added) Guardian rock (beginning half adding) The mod itself is called “sonic forces reimagined” And the creators has a RUclips channel where he gives updates for stuff they’re working on for the mod.
Not the most massive improvement, but the concept is something I dig. Having "Shadow" as a looming threat in this stage especially is cool. Also, the nod to SA2 is *awesome* 1:41.
The first thing that came to my mind when i saw this mod was the very first teaser of sonic forces back in 2017 this mod is what i and many other people imagined it would’ve been like
Stuff with Phantom Shadow is really cool, but the new parts of the level are noticeably emptier and ugler than the modified official parts. I love his work on less detailed levels like Aqua Road and Arsenal Pyramid, but even the level design of this one is weird and kinda boring looking, as most of it is spent on a long straight road or a long straight rail. And why did he elect not to use Red Gate Bridge as a base for the extension? That level was intended to be a part of Sunset Heights after all, so it would fit perfectly, way better than what ever that transition to the new stuff was with a loop and a spring. Overall, if Forces did ship with a level like this I would finally understand what the hate for it is all about. No disrespect to the creator however, as his other levels are much better, even if all are a bit under detailed, however none were as ugly as this, or as flat for that matter. Hopefully this is just unfinished, but I still won't like this level design no matter how pretty you make it, sorry. No offense to those who liked this either, you can have your opinion while I have mine.
I like it way more than the Original but you’re right, it could still use a lot of Work. The New shadow stuff was better than the Level just continuing like the last Version of the mod
The level design has a large variety of paths, and with the improved controls included its a blast. I’ve noticed people criticise forces for having areas of boosting but I mean… it’s essential for a boost game, and all of them have it and guess what? With these fine tuned controls its pretty damn fun! I’d highly suggest you play it before passing judgement. Moreover, Brandon Jones is making these extensions on his own free time, with none of Sonic Team’s funding or man power. I am hella mpressed by these visuals for a fan mod. You simply cannot expect everything to look as good as sonic team’s official product, and even then, I’d say he gave it a look that’s almost on par. When playing you can barely notice a difference in the visuals you’re going so fast.
Fans: SEGA we want longer and non-linear levels SEGA: ITS HARD SO DO IT YOURSELF! Fans: straight lines and random rails = non linear the fan made part is worse than SF itself everyone defends this bc it was made by a fan, if it were SEGA...
Shadow didn't actually needed to be a boss.
Just look at this!
He follows you through the chaos and attacks by surprise
Great use of the game's assets
with the dlc of shadow , and this role in this level is perfect
It feels like a Sonic episode where Sonic is running while fighting someone, no bossfight required, just run and fight
2:10 Amy: Are you alright?

Yup, you fuckin said it man.
He has that big of an ego lol but yeah pretty out of character

Lost World's gameplay is solid but it is still shat on by the awwtistic fandom.
The story was amazing tho

He worked on a nother mod with a team called sonic forces over clocked check that out

Man you make Sunset Heights literally better and I love it.I hoped Sega See this

Bro it's crazy how the fans are better in literally every way
sonic looks really cool with the sonic prime tennis shoes
This is what Sunset Heights should look like.

there is gonna be a shadow boss soon so look out for that peeps
Link?

sunset heights
Another great mod.
Amazing, you did a better level desing, i loved the part where Sonic and Shadow crossed each other at high speed xD
He didnt make it toh
I kinda miss Knuckles and Vector's complains about how many Death Egg Robots there are.
Wow, love this.
Man, Sega need to hire you! I'm not kidding
What for? They'll hire him and then won't give him the time or resources needed to make games, like they always do.
@@xdan- Sega does that? I never knew that, I was bouta say that they could hire this man to come up with great ideas and concept
This is what I was hoping for from the game but... Well. At least modders will make a game better than the developers.
That is sick
WHOA WERE THOSE ACTUAL UN USED VOICE CLIPS????
Its already good
Amazing !

So Shadow Generations creators were inspired from this mod I guess
Oooo 😮
