Sadly, in 1.3.5 the hardmode bosses are not spawnable in pre-hardmode

IMO, the water bolt is better for this fight. It would probably hit more times, thus doing more damage.
Edit: in the mobile edition, using heart arrows makes any fight 20x easier, as it freezes enemies.

Ahhh this reminds me of how I got the possessed hatchet before killing the WoF
And now prepare for a story you don't care for
So back in the day in mobile addition you could blow up the locked door to the golem dungeon with dynamite
I had a nights edge and my friend had a fiery great sword
I don't remember how but we ended up killing the golem and I called dibs on the loot
And to my behold I got a possessed hatchet
I'm pretty sure I farmed the golem -a bit- a lot more and I got the picksaw making hard mode MUCH EASIER
Moral of the story?
Use your friends to exploit the game

Yup the good old days. Sometimes I'd find world's where I could just walk in because water had screwed up the block formations and left massive holes in the walls. Used to use the block 2 spaces block method to get under golem and swing for a few min then boom dead. Super cheaty but fun as hell

Even though this method won't work in 1.3, it can still work in early hardmode, and you could get the cultists to spawn in the dungeon early. Plus in 1.2 or earlier, you can absolutely obliterate plantera with the drops from the golem.

You can just put three platforms on the door, make them into stairs, and walk through the door while holding the down key. It’s much easier than HOIK.
With hoik u enter on the Boss Room and laghartos have too much damage and life to pre-hardmode

You can definitely change out the bundle of balloons and frostspark boots for damage accessories, movement accessories will not help when you have a hoik pushing you.

But it only spawns when you kill plantera...and plantera only spawns when you kill the three mechanical bosses... and you need souls which means you need to get into hard mode to get these souls...
Unless you get the mechanical bosses from a different world then you can't do this.

Gabriel Lima yrimir came back to life and uploaded a few vids (u most likely know this) but he hasnt uploaded in months AGAIN. its prob cuz of his personal life as he explained in a comment of when he came back to life
if thats the case then hes an ass. once you get to a certain amount of subs you cant stop making videos or people get pissed. he was one of the best terraria youtubers. but now i think all he did was make those videos then stop because he was making money off it. once you get past 100k subs youtube pays you. so being a great youtuber or not the fact that he still plays the game and doesnt make videos pretty much saying fuck all my subs and fans is a pretty big ass hole thing to do. he has way more fans than he does subs. some videos have over 1 million views when he has only 440k subs thats why i said more fans than subs.

I’ve never done this myself, but back in 1.2 I managed to get glitchy Jungle Temple on one of my first worlds, there was honestly just a hole in the wall and I could walk in. I did it back before I knew what Golem was. So technically, it’s possible to beat this guy without hoiking. I’ve even managed to glitch inside through the power of explosives and knockback before.

1.2 Was around a while. With all the different builds for Amazon, PC, Xbox, etc, some differences developed despite all being derived from one patch.
Another trick to get into the temple it to go to the front door and place 3 platforms in front of it then hammer the three plat forms until they face forward to you in the stair stage then hold your character down while walking to the door then you will phase right through
There is sometimes a glitch where there is just this random hole in the temple that u can go through.

A long time ago I used to play terraria with my brother on xbox. We found a dungeon temple that generated with a giant chunk taken out of it, right where the door was. Because of this, we were able to fight golem before plantera, and for the longest time I thought that was just how it was. Golem is way easier than Plantera....
I had a seed where the jungle door generated oddly, the door generated like it always does, but there was a gap behind the door.
Here's one big thing I want to point out right now:
On Terraria mobile, one interesting thing I noticed is that it's still pre-1.3 as of the current day (July 2018), so this trick would work, right?
Well, I've found out before that on mobile, Lihzahrd enemies do indeed spawn inside the temple pre-hardmode, however, they are restricted to only being in the temple, inside the temple door only. Knowing this it's reasonable to say that the Golem will be spawnable from this point in the game. Knowing this, we could do this on Mobile if the hoik is possible.
If I can get this to work, I will come back to this video and say the results, however I'm not 100% sure this is possible. Assuming this, there is a possibility this isn't truly possible. However, some alternative may be possible instead.
Edit: I've done not even that much work, however, it seems that the hoik is impossible on mobile, for some reason, maybe if a different hoik method is found it could be tested to see if it could be used, but for now, I can say this doesnt work on mobile.

We can't hammer lizhard blocks in 1.2
on older versions of mobile you can blow up the temple door with bombs.

Use platform infront of the lhizard door then hammer that wooden platforms to form a stair then push your character into the door

It's an animation it simulates what would happen and you can do the hoik loop after plantera is defeated this is just a possibility if they allow you to spawn him in pre hardmode

I remember when mobile was the most broken version and I could summon him outside the door because it replaced a chest for some reason(I got the power cells by using dynamite on the door). Took about 3 hours and I got lasered in the end...

@@900ml5 Open equipment menu, the one where you put grappling hooks, mounts etc and at the top of it should be a camera icon, from there you can do the different views

I can’t wait to try this on Switch! Been loving the improvements so far, and I would go as far to say, gameplay-wise, that it gives a fierce competition to PC.
I don't think you could try this in the switch... I mean yeah you could hoik but I don't think you could summon him until plantera is killed... unless the switch allows you to but I'm a PC player so idk

No, you need to defeat all mechanical boses to figth planterra, and (in the current version of terraria) golem can't be summoned if you don't defeat planterra earlier.
