yes I saw that too. Being in the DFW area, I will be going to visit them!
Any input on the smoke output of the LSG vs the Kando Champ?
@@jeffcorkern5140 The Kando is struggling with shipping costs right now! $600 to Dallas and they are in Waco!
@@gosman949 I got a quote of $440 to Baton Rouge
@@jeffcorkern5140 good. Maybe prices are coming down.
Yoder from Kansas one of the best , big price too though
Thank you for your hard work on this video. This is awesome for people who are looking for made in USA.
Fantastic in-depth video!
Thanks for this video! I had not thought about pellet grills as an option until now.
They will make you some good bbq. I hope you are all doing well out there in Texas.

I live in the DFW area and may visit them in Austin. How has their service been and how do you like it?
@@gosman949 Love it cooks great Keith and the crew are awesome 👍😎also built like a tank ya ain’t gonna find a better built pellet smoker.
@@prevostandbbq4451 wonder how it stacks up against Lone Star Grills pellet smoker?
@@jeffcorkern5140 Built like a tank and solid easy to clean out ❤️mine. Go check them out Keith and the crew are great people.
@@prevostandbbq4451 I have noticed the Lone Star Grillz puts out ALOT of smoke.... how does the Kando compare to the LSG when it comes to producing smoke?
Just got the Kando 480 today!!
Awesome 🙂
I hope you can post a review here when you've broken that bad boy in 👍
@@SmokeMasterD I will, I have noticed there are basically none out there. I will let you know when I post it!
@@rynomacamillion how are you liking it? I’m getting ready to order the 480 or the Champ.
@@cfrith8963 I am loving it, I use it all the time. Very well constructed, easy to use and turns out great food!
Would you be able to do a condensed "my thoughts" video that combines all of these smokers with the ones from the heavy duty video?
I am considering doing an overview of all American made pellet grills. It probably won't come out anytime soon though because I still have the stainless steel ones to go. Good luck though.
The Outlaw Smokers units have an improved 20 lb pellet hopper not shown on the website. They are also undergoing a design revision that I understand will include slide-out shelves. The thing I like best about them is the ash clean out door. I won't ever buy another pellet cooker without this feature.
Good to know. I look forward to seeing their redesign.
has the redesign happened?
@@gosman949 I dropped by Nelson's shop yesterday but forgot to ask.
Have had several different types of Pellet Grills and nothing makes juicier grilled meats than a smokin brothers on their grill grate heat zone system. Only downside is they eat pellets a lot!
Excellent review, I have an appointment for a Smoking Bros 36: at the Distributor.
You won't be disappointed. The insulated firebox is awesome. I cook below zero in WI with no blanket and use minimal pellets.
I agree with Derek that I don't think you will be disappointed 🙂
@@Rehmer94 thank you
I have a 24, and gave a family of 4 with one teen and one 12yo. It's large enough, fyi. The powder coating of the steel is great also. Ours sits outside with a cover an dot looks new 13months in. The frame is beyond sturdy and there is literally not one thing I would complain about. I would get the grate handle, and an extra grate for the top row to make it a complete cooking surface. And of course the cover. What a great company.
Smokin bros puts out the best grilled meat but they eat a lot of pellets per grill season, smoking on it is great and uses minimal pellets.
I currently use the Smokin Brothers Premier 30. I'd like to upgrade to a Yoder or what would you recommend?
If I were you, I would take a look at the Lone Star Grillz too, but it's ultimately up to you.
@Smoke Master D ya I've looked at those too but pricewise the Yoder is spendy enough. Lol
$1000+ and ya still have to buy a shelf…
Do you have any actual experience using any of these?
No. That's not what this show is. Some of the comments are from people who do, though. And of course, it's not hard to find reviews on individual smokers.
