I just finished segments 22,23, the Wenimuche bypass, and 25. Unfortunately I got altitude sickness and had to come back down to the front range before polishing the last three segments. Love the video Alan! And those sections are some of my faves too!

the only benefit of popularizing mnt trails on you tube is for the you tube producer's short term gain. we dont need to be told to get outside dude. the whole messiah thing is for another group.

Pretty much ruins the hiking experience in Colorado, being run off the trail by obnoxious mountain bikers who rut up the tail and scare away all the wildlife clangbanging along. It's the next worse thing to someone blasting a bluetooth spear in the backcountry.
Thanks for sharing:) I’ve interacted with hundreds of hikers on the CT while riding my bike… all positive experiences, just like the few examples shown in this and my other videos 🤙
@@DirtyTeethMTB I've gotta say, I've met some really cool mountain bikers as well, which definitely takes the edge off the trail damage and scaring away of wildlife. Another thing that really helps is the super fat tires. It can't be underestimated what a difference they make in preserving the trail. I think they may do less damage than shoes.
I commute (by bike) with a Bluetooth speaker. I call it my “pedestrian awareness device” 😂
