Thanks for the video, this made my life lot easier to model, one more question I can understand(now) the angular sides of the pockets to cut at the surface, my question is, how would I model the angle at bottom pf pocket(at 11.09), the pockets are not thorough, they are blind with angle at bottom(if you cut the cross section, besides the angle at sides, I am looking to model the side wise Inclines bottom slots(not inclined from center out, rather side wise), please help.

You can create 2 planes of the section from the object to be cut to make the cutting process easier. you can make 2 plane of the section
