All good stuff, can't complain about any of them. I pay £30-35 for the Talisker and less than £50 for the PC10. Some good 10s missing from that list including (you know what I'm going to say) Springbank. I was thinking that you must have deliberately excluded it due to its appalling distribution. I'd certainly have included the Ben Nevis 10. The Bowmore's too expensive for what it is and so is the Glenmorangie, although it remains a good beginner's dram. You can still pick up the regular Benromach 10 and Glencadam 10 for about £35.
Benriach do a 10 for a fair price but I haven't tried it. We hardly talk about Benriach any more since the take over and that is a shame because I used to love that distillery. Not very interested any more. We don't talk about Old Pulteney, Balblair, Balvenie, Aberlour Dalmore, Bowmore, Auchentoshan any more. Glenfarclas, Glendronach and Macallan are not far behind. It's very interesting what's happening in the Whisky Geek Universe.
Got to mention Ledaig and Talisker 10. Talisker 10 is so good that it is a real problem for Talisker 18. I love the 18 but the 10 is just as good for different reasons and way cheaper. I'm very fond of the Ledaig 10 but the 18 is very good indeed. I'm inclined to think it's worth paying the difference. Anyway, I'm drifting in that old WT way. That was a good show and it highlights that there is a lot of good stuff, really good stuff, out there without breaking the bank.

My dude you put a great list together here. There are just so many bottles out there that these can easily be missed. Out of everything here. I’ve only had the Ardbeg and the Glenmorangie. So this video just motivated me to add more on my must try list. Cheers Bud 🤙🥃

Hello Malt Activist, Today , i got 2 bottles of regular Laphroaig 10 ( this time i drove 20 min not like last time 3 hours) I hope one day they get batch number bottles. As well , i went to another store to get my hands on Lagavulin double matured, distilled 2006 and bottled 2021
That Lagavulin sounds nice. Do let me know when you taste it.
@@MaltActivist OMG , this one is unbelievable on the nose i smell vanilla, cherry and red licorice. I am noobie on single malt but wow it goes down so smoky and sweet. Its delicious , you have to try this one! cheers brother
Thank you, this is an excellent list spanning quite a range of flavor profiles. All highly regarded for me, although the most recent Glenmorangie 10 bottlings in the U.S. have fallen short for me - I generally reach for other Glenmorangie bottlings, which are often also good value.

Honest reason? Haven't tasted it. Crossed my list though.
I live 5 minutes from Glencadam and Fettercairn Distilleries so a bit spoiled . You must try it it's very tasty.

I was thinking that too. I love Springbank 10 but the distribution really sucks. I used to be able to buy it any time of the day all year round. They've sold us out in the U.K.

A great list , hasn’t the bladnoch 10 and the tempest been discontinued? ( my tempest batch 6 cost me around €50 😀👍a few years ago) . These bottles are cheaper here in Germany, example bought a bottle of port Charlotte 10 today, cost me € 53 (around £45). Good and enjoyable video 👍 slainte mahth 🥃
I'm not 100% sure to be honest. Still available in my neck of the woods though.
@@MaltActivist The Bladnoch 10 was discontinued and replaced with the Bladnoch 11. 3 batches were produced. Batch 1 was for Europe. Batch 2 for the US and Batch 3 was made to fulfill contract obligations.
Since then, Bladnoch has acknowledged the subliminity of young Bladnoch and hinted at the 10's return in 2027 as per a reddit thread.
This was/is my favorite 10 year old bar none and the only whisky I bought as many as I could find before it disappeared.

Just got two bottles of Ledaig 10 which I tried for the first time the other day. Man...I can't believe I can get this for £38! It is stunning. Smoke, iodine, fruit, oak.... just so lovely. Its full of bite and character.
I went a bit crazy and bought two Ledaig 18 which I haven't tried yet. They will be stashed away for now.
Have you tried both and how do they compare? Would you say the 18 is worth it over the 10, at £80? Thank you!
