  • Japanese maples are glowing with light and colour; happiness and sadness together. The bright red marigolds say a last goodbye. In the morning, there is ice forming in the Tsukubai; it won’t be long now until the snow flies and hides the stepping stones. It is hard to believe it will be winter again soon, when, on a final warm day, we open the sliding door and let the wind dance through the house. As the leaves fall, there is much work to be done. All the leaves will be gathered so that the moss will have enough light to grow. The roses are hilled up with soil to protect their crowns from the harsh cold. If only we could bring the Nuthatch into the warm house with us! We have grown attached, like the few leaves that remain clinging to a naked tree. The first snowfall arrives. There has been much suffering and sorrow in this year. We have hoped to make something beautiful of it still. We will rest now. Filmed from November 4th to November 22nd, 2020. - Miranda Stone

This is really wonderful to hear! What an amazing thing to have seen Panditji in concert in 1974, playing Raag Bihag, which was being broadcasted. I wonder if All India Radio is releasing this recordings on RUclips?
