Blows my mind, I’ve seen multiple videos of people testing boots and gloves this type of way, that they don’t realize all the heat is escaping out the open end. The glove isn’t open when your hand is in it. It needs to be closed. So you aren’t really measuring how warm they are because ones with a tight cuff is going to lose less heat out the opening vs one that is loose and open.
I have been searching high and low for videos like this as I’m in the hunt for good warm and waterproof gloves to shovel snow this winter in Chicago. You’ve made me a subscriber!! 👏🏼 🎉
Ah, that makes me so happy! Please report back on which gloves you got and what you think! I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! ❤️
I wish you could understand how much this means to me! When I first started I felt so overwhelmed, it makes me so happy to know I'm helping other people (even in a tiny way.)
You should consider providing a chart of the gloves based on the findings...instead of your viewers having to scrub back and forth through the video to determine the order of best-to-worst.
@@ubreakitirepairit3569 It was just a suggestion, cupcake. No need to soil your diapers over it. Bless your little heart. You had me laughing with the "keep up with two test", as I read that with a caveman voice. You're not very sharp, huh?
@@pekerhed101 she already did more than enough by even making this video. It’s too bad you need a chart of her findings because you’re too lazy to find what’s the worst. Warmth test and leak test. What more do you need to know about the worst, other than the fact that they leak? You spent just as much time replying to me as you did scrubbing. Weirdo.
I love your videos and your science experiments! If I lived near you, I would totally want to be your friend! We live in Florida and have a one week ski vacation planned... So I want to be mindful of my budget since wet are only going for a week...but yet I need products that are going to keep us extremely warm since we are not used to cold weather! Your videos are extremely helpful! Could you either comment or do a video on what you purchase for your kids gear? I don't mind splurging on myself but when my kids are still growing I hate to spend tons of money.
Jaime! Thank you so much for your comment! You seem delightful too! I absolutely agree with your sentiments on kids gear! I’ll definitely create a video for that, but wanted to address your question to make sure you have an answer in time! First of all, I would only buy their snow clothes and rent their skis or snowboard. I’ve found boot and board sizes change so rapidly that it’s insanity to keep up! I would go with bib snow pants so the length can really be adjusted. Also, it tends to be a bit more comfortable and give them room to bend over and move. I would also plan to get a couple of sizes up so they can hopefully wear them for at least two years; maybe three. Definitely go with wrist straps on the gloves for kids. You do not want to be worrying about them dropping a glove. I would say socks and base layers are probably the most overlooked piece of gear for kids. The main complaint that will take you off the slopes is discomfort or cold, so good socks and comfortable/moisture wicking base layers will go a long way! Hopefully that helps! Please let me know if you have other questions, I’m happy to help! Good luck and have so much fun! And congrats on being a fun mom and getting your kids out there!
The only question left is can you use the top choices with your phone or pad or, or do you have to take them off. It gets so windy here some winters and we end up losing power. It gets really boring if we're snowed on in the middle of the day. You(if you wanna) should make a short testing how they do against a phone.
I took them night boarding on a cold night (not sure the exact temperature) but I wasn’t cold in the slightest! I’ve never had such a positive experience night boarding, typically I can’t enjoy it as much because it’s too cold! I think the Tough ones will almost be too warm for most of the days I go, but I plan to use them on the extra cold days! But yes, I think 0 degrees is pretty dang cold, but I think they would be a great option! If you end up getting them, please let me know what you think! I’d love to hear about your experience!
And by spring time…100 page long application of men who want to become a step father before the end of Summer!!! This woman is such an awesome Wonder Woman!!
Sorry to inform you, but there is no possible human weigh that you were actually in -160° with bare skin and just those little leggings. You would have got serious frostbite immediately on your face. I can seriously appreciate you making a video for people and doing your best. I do not mean to show respect for your efforts. Take care

Was it that hard for you to keep up with two test?

I'm looking for a mitten for Antarctica! 🥶 . Thanks for your help!
Thanks for doing these tests! Have a pair of tough gloves on the way!
Wahoo! That makes me so happy! Let me know what you think about them!
Muchas gracias 😊😉
Big tough manly gloves probably winning, but probably .1 is mittens because it conserves heat better
Thank you for these videos making my purchasing decisions so easy
Yay! I'm so glad! Which pair did you end up going with?! I'd love to hear your thoughts good and bad!
This woman should be in the Miss America pageant, not testing gloves lol.
Hahaha
Tough & Andorra are all sold out 😅on Amazon. Is there any budget ski gloves you would recommend ?
you could put a piece of gray cloth on your hand when testing the waterproof-ness

You need to do the hot rock test one glove at a time and use a timer for the same length of test.

Would you consider the accsa gloves acceptable for skiing?
Do you think the tough gloves will hold up on the cold days (around 0°f degrees
