I picked the guitar up again after 40 years without.
Despite the misery of childhood lessons, I came back older, wiser and with a greater appreciation for music. This was the song by Syd that inspired me to dive back in. I wanted to do an arrangement of this for my wife of 35 years. Since she still makes my hair stand on end.
And your lessons made it possible to dive back in. After two weeks it's all back and I'm ten times better than I ever was, and am having at least that much more fun playing, now at 57 than I did at 11. Thank you for this tutorial. In addition to the basic song, this lesson is full of tricks and tips from more advanced understanding of bar and borrowed chords etc,

Hello, I was wondering what chords you got for it. The online tabs I've found have that main 4 chord thing going from A to D#/A#, which has never sounded right to me. If you found a voicing that sounds good I'd love to know what it is.

having trouble doing root notes & stretching to do vocal notes without muffling the sound any advice for smaller hands? or is it more about wrist positioning
Big hands do help with that particular technique, but it is possible with smaller hands. My hands aren't huge. It's more about persistent practice and careful hand positioning I think. Hope that helps a bit.
