A Tribute to "GB" - Model Railways 00 and H0 Gauge

I show you my personal video footage of a great model railway friend's layout affectionately known as "GB" who passed from this life from Parkinsons disease in 2020. I knew "GB" for over twenty years and would visit him once a month with another good mate "Ian" which was a three hour trip by car. We would look forward to these visits immensely as although it was a long way and meant leaving at 6.00am to get to his house by about 9.00am, it was through lovely countryside and towns. There's barely a day goes by when he doesn't pass through my thoughts especially when I'm in the layout room.

Very nice tribute to your friends!!!
Is very hard when they go , as I have lost good mates and my wife over the years. We will never forget them, and they 'will' be playing that layout in the sky!

What lovely models and a super layout Stuart. What is the railcar at the end it reminds me of a German made Railbus we have preserved in the UK.

Although this a personal tribute Stewart, it’s always a pleasure to see another man’s achievements building his railway, and that we all model at different levels of skill and interests. Pleased you shared your tribute with us.
