How to winterize a 2021 + Nautique G21, G23, G25 or Paragon

Nautique has made some changes in the 2021 model year going to closed cooling for their G series boats (maybe their other models as well). We walk through the steps to get your boat ready for winter, or just if the temps will drop below freezing and you want to get it drained.

How long do you run the boat for to get the water out? 5-10 seconds?

just basically start it and turn it off

What about the ballast tanks?

We’ve always just ran the pumps on drain for a few seconds to ensure water is out of the system, if you are worried about it you can pour some RV antifreeze down the vents and then drain, we’ve been doing our method for 10 years without any issues.

Would this same process be sufficient on a 2109 gs24?

The engine draining will be a bit different, everything else will be the same. You can find the drain locations on the PCM website under your engine

I believe in 2019 the engine is not closed cooled and doesn’t have the same drain hoses. We have the H5/H6 video coming out this week.
