So many people don’t know about this very underrated group . These guys and girl made absolutely super cool music. Brian Eno put that special edge on it😊
they're not underrated, they were one of the most famous bands back then, David Byrne is a legend, the band is iconic, extremely famous, and known for their eccentric futuristic style for that time
1.Yes that's John Goodman. He was a struggling actor when he made True Stories, which while not a big hit landed him supporting roles in Raising Arizona and the Big Easy and eventually Roseanne 2. EDIT: Appareny that IS Meatloaf! Also, the guy with long hair and a thin mustache is Tito Larriva, an actor and singer who was also in From Dusk Till Dawn and other Robert Rodriguez movies 3. True Stories is a great movie and inspired the name of the band Radiohead
I dare anybody to try a listen to just one talking heads song and stop! It can’t be done 😮 Nothing like them before or since. Thanks David Byrne AND the rest of the band!

Thanks Travis, and Chris. That's awesome! He is one of my favorite actors. My dad introduced me to these guys when I was in Middle-School, and this has always been one of my favorites. I'd never seen the music video before though.
Of all the many interesting characters on here the two David Byrne make as the disco and biz man are hypnotizing - his stage presence is truly brilliantly captivating...
This was their last hit and absolutely their best song. When you have Sam Kinison, John Goodman, Prince, Billy Idol, and David Byrne on lead vocals, how can it not be?
This video summarizes my entire MTV experience watching it as a kid during its early years from early to mid-1980's. Love all the parodies of popular acts at the time.

Ain't that the way you like it, oh-oh?
Living wild, wild life
I'll wrestle with your conscience
You wrestle with your partner
Sitting on a windowsill
But he spends his time behind closed doors
So check out mister businessman, oh-oh-oh
He bought some wild, wild life
On the way to the stock exchange, oh-oh-oh
He got some wild, wild life
Pick it up when he opens the door, oh-oh-oh
He doing wild, wild life
I know it's the way you like it, oh-oh
Living wild, wild
Peace of mind
It's a piece of cake
Thought control
You get on board any time you like
Like sitting on pins and needles
Things fall apart
It's scientific
Sleeping on the Interstate, oh-oh-oh
Getting wild, wild life
Checking in and checking out, oh-oh-oh
I got 'em, wild, wild life
Spending all of my money and time, oh-oh-oh
On too much wild, wild life
We wanna go and we go where we go, oh-oh-oh
Ah, doing wild, wild life
I know it, that's how we start, oh-oh-oh
Got some wild, wild life
Take a picture here in the daylight, oh-oh
And it's a wild, wild life
You've grown so tall, you've grown so fast, oh-oh-oh
Wild, wild life
And I know that's the way you like it, oh-oh
Living wild, wild, wild, wild life!
I love you John Goodman!
I can't believe back in the 80's I couldn't stand this band, now I'm 60 years old and I can't get enough!
OH UH OH!!!! GETTING WILD WILD LIFE!!!!
So many people don’t know about this very underrated group . These guys and girl made absolutely super cool music. Brian Eno put that special edge on it😊
they're not underrated, they were one of the most famous bands back then, David Byrne is a legend, the band is iconic, extremely famous, and known for their eccentric futuristic style for that time
It's amazing how many ways we've been blessed by John Goodman over the years.
1.Yes that's John Goodman. He was a struggling actor when he made True Stories, which while not a big hit landed him supporting roles in Raising Arizona and the Big Easy and eventually Roseanne
2. EDIT: Appareny that IS Meatloaf! Also, the guy with long hair and a thin mustache is Tito Larriva, an actor and singer who was also in From Dusk Till Dawn and other Robert Rodriguez movies
3. True Stories is a great movie and inspired the name of the band Radiohead
Ah-Ha , I knew it. Tito was the guy in From Dusk til Dawn & Desperado, thanks now I can sleep.
D Platt great info.....I'm surprised that Goodman did something like this after Revenge of the Nerds
That was Sam Kenison! Promise
Bulletstop75 I don't think that's him. Close but no cigar
Great Mind Spin. "Who, Him?"
Does this sound like song from 1986 , ,,, no way , listen to it in 2021 still sounds absolutely incredible, timeless classic ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Música gostosa de ouvir, sem dizer que lembro muito da minha adolescência.
Saudades.
I dare anybody to try a listen to just one talking heads song and stop!
It can’t be done 😮
Nothing like them before or since. Thanks David Byrne AND the rest of the band!
This song is one insane stream of consciousness.........and if you're a karaoke singer, it's a great one to start with, because it's a great way to test your voice's capability for the night.
excelente !!!!!!!!!!viva los 80
Was...was that John Goodman?
Caleb Dziepak yeah that is a very young John Goodman haha
Yes...yes it was.
Thanks Travis, and Chris. That's awesome! He is one of my favorite actors. My dad introduced me to these guys when I was in Middle-School, and this has always been one of my favorites. I'd never seen the music video before though.
Caleb Dziepak I'm certain it was. Just a trivia question somewhere. Definitely before, "Rosanne".
It's from the movie True Stories (which goes right along the Talking Heads album of the same name).
Of all the many interesting characters on here the two David Byrne make as the disco and biz man are hypnotizing - his stage presence is truly brilliantly captivating...
Wild Wild Life... here on this Mountain top.. Oh - oh. 🕺😎
Hands down the best Talking Heads song/video...love all the cameos!
Probably the world's most underrated band. Nostalgia ❤
Yeah check out how many people have listened to once in a lifetime and say they are underrated
Brilliant song very fitting for 2023
Talking heads has the JAMS.
1:47 This man's dance moves actually fit with the band lol
This was their last hit and absolutely their best song. When you have Sam Kinison, John Goodman, Prince, Billy Idol, and David Byrne on lead vocals, how can it not be?
I always thought that was Sam Kinison too, but on IMDB they said it is actually Meatloaf.
Steve Buschemi is in the audience too
At 1:39 that's Robert Paulson, before eating to many doughnuts or maybe that's Meat Loaf
Big Mike Not he’s not
No he’s not
The heads are simply brilliant.
This song is sensational
Que falta faz uma banda pop dessas hoje em dia !!! Grande Talking Heads!!!!!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This video summarizes my entire MTV experience watching it as a kid during its early years from early to mid-1980's. Love all the parodies of popular acts at the time.
80s forever
Great Great Times!!
Byrne. An absolute genius x 100. This is a #1 Classic. Too bad MTV no longer really exists.
Love the energy from the girl in the yellow jumpsuit 💛 yeah!
I'm in love with her!
And while we're living this "Wild Wild Life", "We're On The Road To Nowhere".
carefull it could make you a psycho killer then again life during wartime can be difficult! but the lady dont mind if you take me to the river to get some water cuz someone was burning down the house, and there she was.with slippery people, it was once in a lifetime. but i know my girlfriend is better.she was born under punches, cross eyed and painless.shed often stay up late wondering if this must be the place. i brought her nothing but flowers and told her dont worry about the government. ...... I THANK YOU!
