👏👏 man, this has inspired me to give it a listen. I had all the same thoughts as you about their career trajectory.
Why is there no mention of Ariel who produced this, FOTB, and modern vampires.
FOTB was an absolute gem of an album.
It is their most pretentious album so far, the arpeggios are predictable and sometimes its overproduced, it wants to be more than it is plus the melodies are not that strong but i see that many people loooove this album.
