That's totally true, like before I knew that they wrote seperately, I didn't know that I was only really listening to Sara songs. Now that I know, I mostly listen to Tegan songs. Love them both though! On another note. I sorta dislike when bands start calling their fans "kids" I mean, like I'm in college and I've liked the same bands since I was in high school, but them saying "kid" kinda puts a condescending notion on it. Like I'm the exact same person, just older and more educated.

@formyrecord i actually think that tegan's lyrics are better than sara's, i mean, dont get me wrong, i love both of them and i dont have a favourite one, but i really think that tegan's lyrics are better, well maybe not better but more rich and with more content, but at the same time, sara talks a lot about tegan's impatience and that she works more on her song than tegan, and i dont think that it makes her songs better, or better that tegan's... cumps.
i definately would not like the band as much if it was just tegan songs or just sara songs. i need songs like 'back in your head' and 'i bet it stung' as much as i need songs like 'my numbe'r and 'nineteen'.

I have to say... I love both of their songs. Both of their songs touch my heart personally. I can feel for both of them.
