- This is a look at the latest update on the audio mute circuit and how it is working. I did find a few inconveniences with it. I also started working on a circuit board for the circuit and got a little carried away with other features.

Need an LED to show TX/RX status. Put a header for the LED so it can be remote mounted.
Good thought on the LED. Would need to use 2 LEDs or add a little additional logic to do off, on and flip polarities for a red/green LED since Squelch and Transmit are on 2 separate pins.
@@HamRadioA2Z even a separate circuit would be good for me. The 7200 and others don't have much of a visual status indicator for tx and busy squelch. I want to mount an LED in the front panel. I'm just not that good at circuits...haha.
You talked about FSK audio. Can any audio be put in. Something like audio from a computer, there is audio out and PTT for computer control. Yes it has a USB, but I have an older computer that doesn't have USB. And I am sure that someone will come up with some audio that they will want to send through the radio. I only have a 7300 now but have thought about a 7100 for my truck. To help with the audio level being to high, I thought about something like a voltage devider. 2 resisters in series. From the audio in to ground and tap off the audio between the resisters to the squelch Q1. Just some thoughts. Thank You for all the videos! 73. W4DES
I have a issue, When I have the volume up (using the built in speaker in the controller) and I get a really strong loud signal the radio just shuts down. I'm lost on whats causing this. Any help would be appreciated. K5RLT
How do I get the list to buy one when you produce them?
