This song and video gives me all the feels. The lavender fields hold such a special spot in my heart. My mother passed in 2016 and we gave her back to the earth in one of her favorite lavender fields. The song truly gives me goosebumps, your harmony is chilling in the most wonderful way. Music touches the souls of those willing to hear it. What an amazing gift you are sharing with the world. Thank you and continue to give back to Mother Earth your amazing soulful music.

My friend is an English Folk Music Artist who lives in Scarborough, England ... I just HAAD! to ask it ... that question to make sure: It IS an actual Yorkshire Folk Song and it was NOT written by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel around 1968.

I'm a marriage commissioner in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Today I'm working on a ceremony for a couple that referenced the music of The Hound + The Fox. I do my best to stay in touch with current music - I'm 64 but I don't believe all good music ended in the 60s, 70s, or 80s - but I must admit I wasn't familiar with such a great duo. I dove into RUclips for some research and came upon this video. Holy cow! What a magnificent, heartfelt sound. I am now a fan ... all thanks to the couple whose ceremony I am performing in a week!

It's not a Scottish song Scarborough is in Yorkshire its an English folk song about the market place in Scarborough :)
