First thought, at least you know you can count on Dean to be respectful of you and your marriage because even when he was dating someone else he wouldn’t accept a friend request from you. I find that so refreshing. ♥️
I love the idea of house sharing with family when it works. Idt it would work for me 😂 but I know lots of people that are so happy. I particularly notice how great it seems to be for kiddos. They have someone always nurturing them and pouring into them and different people sharing their wisdom and perspectives.
I have a goal to begin to start working towards being small consumer debt free. Obviously our car won’t be paid off but I think if we really buckle down we get all our cards paid off. It was nice to enjoy the perks and get our credit truly established but now it’s time to pay down and use more like a debit card.
My husband and I were very fortunate that my parents let us live with them for 3 years to pay off debit and buy a house! It was the only way we were able to afford it. Actually, we took our first trip to Disney World right after we paid all our bills off! 😊
Love all your videos on both channels! I can only imagine how busy you are between being mom/wife/content creator and all the other hats you wear! Take whatever time you need in 2024 to have that balance. We will all be here for the content whenever you post!

Do you think you will ever do some content about your homeschooling, curriculum choice etc . My husband and I recently decided we are going to homeschool and I’d love to see content what other families are doing and what is working for them. Our son just turned 4. Girl we stayed with my in-laws for 10 years traveled and saved for a new car and in 2019 bought a house ❤ it’s honestly a blessing !! lol they didn’t want us to leave but it was definitely time 😅 ❤

🧚♀️ I just want to add a little bit to take the newborn/baby to Disney and breast-feeding. I took Iris when she was a year old so she was older but she was still nursing and I actually just breast-fed her in public. I’ve never been a shy nurser and it was absolutely no issue. Nobody said anything to me so if you’re comfortable with that it helps you be a little more included, but I also totally understand how nerve-racking it can be, and know that it’s not for everyone! ❤
Oh, absolutely this too! We nursed everywhere at Disney with no issues. The baby care center was just so calm and relaxing which is why it has fond memories. 🫶🏼

Can’t wait for this year’s trips!! Space Mountain in Disneyland is 40in! I can’t wait for my daughter to be able to ride it, it’s one of my favorite rides. She was 36in when we went in October! 🧚🏼♀️✨

I have a 2 and 4 yr old too. They both love their slumber pods. It changed our travel when we found those.

🧚 I was also homeschooled! I went to kindergarten but was home first through 12th grade. I also swore off all boys RIGHT before connecting with my now husband 😂 I’ve been debating getting a Disney annual pass just for myself. We should set up a mom creator trip! Hangout, create content, help each other with photos and B roll. It would be so fun!
🧚 I also hardly wear my wedding/engagement rings because of pregnancy & having an infant. I try to wear them if we go out. Loved the Q&A!

Would love to know more about your homeschool experience! My son is 3 and homeschooling is for sure what we'll do, so I need to get it in gear and learn all about it. I wasn't homeschooled and went to a toxic school, came from a toxic family, all of it. I want to change that for my son! So I'm always looking to hear others' wisdom and experience!
We also choose to House Share with my parent. We pay half of everything and in the end the home is mine. I decided to do this at age 37 when I became a single mom. I’m now engaged and he understood my situation and we all live together now. It’s nice to have extra money, travel more, and have my kids in sports like All Star Cheer (super expensive) Thanks for sharing your story. Most people don’t understand my decision. It’s not always easy but for the most part it works for everyone. ❤❤❤

Loved this!!! 🧚✨ I too haven’t worn my wedding rings since having kids, someday I’ll wear them again when I don’t spend the majority of my day changing diapers. Loved all of the stories of you and dean. And financially staying value/moderate just makes sense if you’re at the park the majority of the time. The deluxe resorts are amazing though, but you can do a whole resort trip to get the full experience of them.

I worked for 38 years as a hospital nurse and never wore rings there. Now I don't because I lost some weight and they fall off😂

Ashley i love your videos! You have such a beautiful family and you're such a good mama ❤ my husband just surprised me on Christmas with a Disney cruise on the Wish! We leave on Mother's day weekend and i can't wait to see the look on my toddlers face, she's gonna love it! Do you suggest a stroller? Do we have to make reservations for activities on board ahead of time just like we would going to WDW?? So many questions lol...
Oh that will be so much fun!! Be sure to visit the Untangled salon for something! You don't really need it on the ship in my opinion but it is nice for port days. Some activities will require reservations so I would 100% start perusing the activities on the Disney Cruise site. The princesses are reservation only so try to grab a ressie for the Royal Gathering if you can.

My husband and I used to house share with my parents and it was okay but being married with kids my husband and I really wanted our own. Now we have our own we love it but we still feel like it was our biggest mistake because we could have been able to pay off debt or be able to save for a home if we still lived with my parents. We always say if we could find a rental with a mother in law suite we would look into doing it again

What! Ashley I had no idea you were homeschoolers too. I homeschool my 4 and 2 year old (well we’re doing Charlotte Mason so they don’t technically start till age 6).
