I am amazed Honda did not put a cruise control on the CTX1300 having made it a tourer with panniers. I really like the bike but the lack puts me off buying one.
Did you have highway pegs of your 2014 Honda CTX 1300? I’m thinking about adding some to my bike. I just bought one, standard model just like yours but different color. Also, how did your lower back feel after such a long trip? I’m thinking about getting a seat with backrest for longer rides. I get about 35mpg on my bike.
If you had to buy one motorcycle, which one would you pick? I am planning my first cross country trip and trying to decide between a ctx1300, ctx700 and nc700.
Put an McCruise on the CTX 1300 even the NC700x. They wrok just like an integrated OEM cruise.
"The Beauty of America" Thank You for the inspiration fellas!!

If you can afford the 1300 go that way. If not, get the ctx700. It’s more touring style ergos should be better for a long trip
Had to sell my CTX700N while buying my home about to buy the CTX1300 this weekend since purchasing my home.
I’m asking way early in the video, but I’m curious what kind of mileage you got with the CTX 1300 at freeway speeds?
about 37mpg
Use the manual shift buttons on the nc700x-maybe know the bike before you ride it?
Great reply Roger! EVERYONE, READ THE BIKE'S MANUAL; AS IN BOOK!!!
