So quick question I see in some Install videos that they’re rotating the top plate of the shock strut assembly 180° before putting the spacers on top. I didn’t see you do that, what’s the cause and what’s the need of doing this?
This video attached explains the reason sir.. skip to 14:16 min and he explains the reason why the rotate it 180 degrees ruclips.net/video/OlYl1H9q9YQ/видео.html
You actually have to rotate the strut 180 degrees after adding the leveling kit, or what you can do is switch the passenger strut with the driver side..
I’m glad to finally see a 2inch level on a 2wd. I’ve been looking all over for this thanks a lot that’s exactly the height I’m looking for I think it’ll look great with the stock 20in wheels and 275/55s
Hey I’m getting ready to do this same mod, one thing I notice in other videos they loosen up the lower control arm, did you have to do it also or you just push it down with your feet?... thanks for the vid👍
Same, was getting ready to install mine yesterday had both struts out on my 17 f150 come to find out the thread pitch for the provided nuts did not fit my strut studs.
I'm putting a 2 inch in the front and 3 in the rear as I pull a trailer. I'm also go to 20' rims. How wide of a rim can I get by with before I have to modify? I have a 08 ford 150 2wd
Chavie I want to do this to my 2016 F150. I just like to have an extra pair of eyes when im doing something like this. Question Can I rent the drill form like Autozone since I dont have one? T.I.A Great Vid.
Good music, good video
This was the best video I've been able to watch on the leveling kit. I assume the 2016 is the same process... thanks for posting it!
This was the best video I found to install the leveling kit. Very easy to follow and very comprehensive. Loved the safety suggestions too. Thank you.
I couldn’t even finish the video after I saw the way the chock was placed I had to see the comments lol
HAHAHA I did exactly the same thing. Stopped it right there and hit the comments. They weren't as brutal as I was expecting tho lol
Great video.
Thanks for sharing.

Mines 4wd…. My axle gonna be in the way but seems straight forward .
Can someone tell me if you have to rotate the top of the strut ???? Some people say you do some people say you don’t? I don’t have 4 wheel drive
Yes, you have to rotate it 180 degrees, what we did was after applying the kit we just switched the passenger and driver strut
Bro said safety first n put the block on the wrong side of the tire
You put the block in the front of the rear tire. That's not going to help your truck from rolling back buddy.
salty 😂
Hahahahahahahaha I thought the same thing “safety first” that had to be on purpose lmaoo
@@pedroescarfullery8017 hope it was on purpose, but you never know people these days
Clearly the truck is on a decline not an incline. That’s why the block is placed where it is.
@@carriecadenhead1391 😂 maybe your right but I don’t think so.
So is this 2” leveling kit?

So you haven’t had any issues? I noticed that you basically turned your shock after you put it back in, that didn’t cause a problem
Good video bud 💯
Short and sweet nice video.
How the ride quality compared to stock?
Zak P relatively the same with stock wheels and tires.
Juan Chavez thank you sir !
The new studs dont line up with the holes at the top of the strut, how did you realign it
david lawrence I’m not to sure. Possible defect in the part. I didn’t have that problem. Try swapping the spacer to the other strut.

Ya, I didn’t want to lift any higher for that fact. The level kit will look real good with stock 20s
I ended up installing a 2.25 in. on mine a couple days after I saw your video. Im very happy with it!

I did loosen them a little
You didn't compress the springs before putting on the level kit ?
ricketkm no need. The spacer sits on top of strut tower. New studs are provided in the kit.
Juan Chavez I got it off a 2014 F150 and had an issue with putting it on my 2017 but I was told by rough country that the bolts are different.
Same, was getting ready to install mine yesterday had both struts out on my 17 f150 come to find out the thread pitch for the provided nuts did not fit my strut studs.
What is the ride quality ? And will the leveling kit hurt the suspension?
ride quality is about the same before the level. after driving on it for over a year, I've had no issues with suspension. even after getting 33" tires

Edwin Walker I don’t get why you don’t do your own research. Why don’t you ask a question that pertains to his truck and this video specifically?
Does it need wheel alignment after ?
it does. its not terrible, I've yet to get it aligned.
What percentage is your tint on your windows? Trying to figure out what % to tint to get the look your truck has.
Great video. Doing this friday
thanks! good luck
When are you going to put real tires ?
eventually
One thing at a time, right?
Nice vid big papi!
You gotta tell me how you did your voice overs.
Got to use that on mine!
What happened to your hydrating scene?
lol it was too early for a beer
Never to early for a beer 🍺

I don't think you can. Any 3/8 or 1/2 impact should work. I've done the job with a harbor freight impact, worked just as good. Thanks for the view!
SAFETY FIRST! THATS FUKIN FUNNY!!
