Aww, I thought this was for loom knitting :( I was so excited to see a nice sweater pattern for the knitting loom, then I see the needles, and crochet hook. Your sweater is beautiful but I don't know how to use needles 😥
@@Ruthemann_Design I know, but we are poor and I've had my knitting looms for many years. I cannot afford to start a new hobby, and my fingers would not be able to use needles :(

I'm guessing that the reason for this complicated technique is that the knitter has perversely chosen to knit a neck band separately from the jumper itself. If you knit the jumper from the bottom up you don't need to do this.

Unfortunatly you keep getting out of frame and there is absolutly not explaination what you are doing or what the concept is. For me as a beginnen it is nearly impossible to follow this.
Totally incomprehensible for an average knitter. When the action takes place outside of the frame, it's the Top ! No explanation, practically no text ... how many stitches were mounted at the beginning ??? Bye !
I’m a beginner knitter and i thought that the videos were well done at showing how to accomplish making the sweater. The videos are meant to accompany the pattern. I am thankful for the videos, as I may not have attempted this sweater had it only had a pattern. Sure, the camera at times, was not in shot, but the video showed so much of the row being knit that you can see what is being displayed. Not all knit designers are experts at filming, yet I find the videos super helpful. I also appreciated the music. Many knitting /crochet videos have background music that is quite distracting, this music was appreciated by the viewer. I hope you continue to make videos for your patterns Thank you for sharing your talents 🧡

The pattern itself is not very flexible. That’s why the folded neckband has a ribbing on the inside.

not everything is meant for everyone. there are lots of tutorials on RUclips that are very clearly indicated for beginner knitted garment makers
