I know this song is mostly about lost love, but the lyrics fit my fight with depression. I am constantly suffering in my mind. Every time I see someone happy I just get sadder because they are experiencing a magical emotion I rarely feel anymore. I just end up longing for a taste of that joy, but all I continue to feel is the urge to wail my sadness to the ceiling of my lonely apartment.

What a blessing
My Dad is my best friend and we lived together and shared a room, meals, everything together. I’m 31 and my hero my dad passed away on October 22nd 2022 and I lost the best person and kindest soul I’ll ever know. There are a few songs/artists we used to listen to together and I want to thank the X Ambassadors as one who helps me get through the days until I can be with Dad again. To everyone who has lost there person and to the people who’ve passed I’m so sorry and I’m praying everyone gets to be with there person forever and always. Be kind and love one another, life’s short and it’s the only thing that matters. 🙏💞💖❤️❤️❤️

I play this song at least 10 times a day. It's a very beautiful song that has a lot of powerful similarities. People change after marriage and lose focus of their goals so now decisions are made without you that will impact the both of you and they expect you to understand. Be careful how you treat your spouse and if you don't want children say so jus don't waste their time.
