Hey Hey HEY! Been awhile since we did a house hunting video.. Hopefully one day I can manage to have a rental propterty investment. Regardless this was a fun video to make. I REALLY wanna do more videos like this. Don't know how often but I HOPE you all enjoy.. I have a passion for this. Checking out homes and filming them is FUN for ME!

This kind of content isn’t really a strength for you. This video was very click bait like and was just one big infomercial for the realtor. You kind of act like you haven’t been to many actual homes in Florida. You speak widely about homes in Florida, but you are incorrect most of the time. A lot of homes in Florida do in fact have yards that are somewhat large. Many homes in Florida also have hot tubs and pools. It seems like you haven’t really been outside of the tiny area that you live in. Those are a few reasons why I do not believe home tours are really your thing despite you enjoying them.

Since you asked...I'm not interested in watching you walk thru houses, Kyle. That particular house had some nice features, but was dated. The astroturf in the back yard killed it. Would have been a decent back yard except for that. You can't afford rental real estate until you can pay cash for the property. And the click bait title was uncalled for.

Kyle, this video did not feel genuine. The #1 thing folks say about you is how genuine you are in your feedback. My suggestion: Play to your strength. Go visit and stay at VRBOs or Airbnbs in your area. You can highlight homes for rent like you do hotel rooms. Give your POV. Be honest. Talk about the details in the listing of what was to be included. No bagels offered by the homeowner that was mentioned in the listing? Well, show it! When some of these properties come for sale, make sure that the realtor/owner pays you the nightly rate to review it and disclose it (Just like Iberostar). It could be another part of your channel. Just be genuine. The video today was a fail.

Lol..nobody is going into that “lake”. I’m from Florida..you don’t go into these lakes..not to swim, canoeing or anything else. There’s a gator is waiting for you. The backyard doesn’t have a screened pool area. Just no.
Powerboating is what people do here. Certain lakes are the cleanest in the United States, and global water ski/ wakeboard professionals have trained here for decades. Also fishing and leisure boating (kayaking, paddle boarding) is huge for those with lake access homes. Any Floridian worth their salt knows just how rare the threat of an alligator attack actually is...

Those flowers in your front yard you just whacked are called Pentas . Inexpensive to replace every few years but do require watering every 2/3 days during the summer. Use some nice rich soil to fill in hole when planting new plants and then mulch. Come in red, pink, or white.

I do agree that some who rent out real estate have really poor experiences, but I have a relative who is doing very well with her properties (in a very good location) in Arizona! She has great renters and she is doing very well!! I also know others who do quite well to say the least! Obviously you have to have really good renters and it is a big responsibility! 😊

Investment properties in states that dont have income tax and taxes are paid on property makes them less income generating. No homestead exemption on property taxes, high insurance, HOA fees, electricity, lawn care, pool maintenance… Expenses add up. Do the math.

@@CC-123abc yes. As in Texas and Florida with no state income tax most taxes are collected at the local level i.e. property taxes, sales tax…. You know the government is going to get their operating money somehow.

@@karrigirl I agree. The architecture of the outside looks very 70s. However, the house that I built in the 90s had the same cabinetry, vanity and Jacuzzi in the bathroom. The 70s. Cabinetry may have all been replaced in the 90’s.

Agreed! Investors bought a ton of new houses in my neighborhood and on my street and they flipped them to Section 8 houses. Now the HOA won’t allow anymore investors to purchase in our community & we’re trying to get the Section 8 out that are causing a ton of criminal activity.

Amidst all the monotony of current home design, cold grey stale shiplapped nightmares, this blast from the past is very refreshing!!
This house doesn’t flow, has very strange angles and material selections are all over the place. Looks like it evolved over time and the exterior is very boxy. Only the skylight ceiling was interesting and the lake view was nice.
If you have trouble decorating now, I would hate to see you with that place 😂

I remember when I first started watching your channel. You had a small following, worked at Disney, and your dream was to work your way up the Disney ladder.
Congratulations on your success, you’re obviously doing well for yourself now. In all honesty though, this content feels quite click-baity. And we don’t need any more of those kinds of videos on RUclips.
As someone whose family is struggling financially, like so many others in this economy, I watch your channel to escape reality and enjoy the magic of Disney (and other adventures) alongside you because we can’t afford to take those adventures ourselves.
I don’t normally watch videos like these because it’s not fun to be reminded yet again of how incredibly far behind in life we are. We’re in our 30s and still can’t afford to buy house of our own. We’re barely able to make enough for groceries.
I respect you for trying new content ideas, but this one just didn’t resonate.
Kyle, it's really nice but ... the electric bill would be insane with the sq footage, those high ceilings and skylights. Depending on weather but as hot as it's been, I wouldn't be surprised if the electric bill wasn't $1,000 a month. Maybe more. You know those airbnbs are going to crank it down. Then add insurance. Always get a quote before you put a lot of time into it, especially if you think you might Airbnb that. You might have a hard time getting insurance. Just my thoughts but If you were serious about an Airbnb, this one might be a pass but I don't know your market that well.
Imagine the lower yard and sky light during a hurricane 😯 ....eek!

The house is nice but to me a little dated in some areas. One, is why does the master bedroom shower have shower curtains and not a door, Two, why on the third floor suite we have a Window Air Conditioning unit??? Where is the rest of the central air for a 600+ house. I am just curious. I would also prefer a garage as well. Just my thoughts

I love the home tours, i however do not think this is the house for you. I think it would be smart to start with something smaller with less work. I would make sure you like being a landlord before you purchase something of this size. Look back at the tile entering the master bath, it looked like it was buckling, but could have been just the angle.

That is a bigger than average sized home with a pool. Central AC would cost 50 - 100K to install correctly.

I hate that today’s trends change every 10 years. It used to not be that way. Your present home will be outdated too soon. Don’t follow trends. If you buy that house, leave the rocks inside alone. The windows, the rocks, and the view gives that house character.

I sure would not want to mow that all that grass, plus the lake maybe alligators. When you get a certain age, you have to think about steps, if you would get sick or break a leg...stairs, well what would you do if you ever needed a wheelchair. I used to have a townhome and sold it because of the steps and had no downstairs bedroom or bathroom. It is alot to think about if you ever break a leg or get sick. Of course, you are young still, but things do happen. If you rent it, you have to take a risk of someone trashing the place or not leaving, so much to even think about.

This is a really different idea. The home is incredible too much stairs for me. You could put in an elevator really incredible. You could always rent out the bottom or do Airbnb are buying? I LOVE seeing homes! Would love more content like this. I used to go to open houses on Sundays just to get to see homes. I did a tour in the bay area (just north of San Francisco) of Frank Lloyd Wright homes. So fun!! Not looking to buy, but as a former Interior Design and Architecture major...this is my jam! (I didn't graduate, my mom fell ill and I moved home to help take care of her until her passing, met an amazing man, got married, helped raised my step kids and had a child who ended up having autism, so never went back to school. I have a new path now. BUT I still love everything about home design and architecture!)
