My daughter has been a Top 5 finalist for a State USA title the past 3 years and was going to compete again in June. She invested in a new gown and expensive coaching. After all this drama was exposed, she chose to drop out and not compete. Luckily she hadnt paid her $1000 registration fee yet! The dictatorial management at Miss USA coupled with a poorly financed USA organization clearly indicated it wasnt worth further expenditures! When the CW announced it was evaluating their relationship with Miss USA to televise the pageant, that was the last straw. The Miss Universe Organization better pay attention and do something quick! Still half the states are left to crown a titleholder. More will pull out for sure if no changes are made! Sad state of affairs for this iconic brand and organization!
