Hello from Antalya Turkey. I turned to cold water shaving over 7 months ago and it's the best thing I have done regarding my shaving routine. No irritation at all.
I started cold water shaving 5 yrs ago when I lost my job and couldn’t pay for the gas bill. Today I lay out in a barber chair as a self made millionaire all thanks to the feeling of failure of watching my wife warm water on the stove to bath our two kids. Thanks for your video! Cheers
+Bereal Begenuine the thanks does not belong to me but it belongs to you! Thank you for making something of yourself and striving to be better! A self-made millionaire is nothing to laugh at! I wish you continued success! Strive to be better, right?
Better use the tip of the razor handle, not holding it close to the head..will help in using less pressure and get you to a better shave! Keep up the good work, Bengal
Hey cincy glad to see you use arko i really love that soap it performs awesome i think i will buy the tub next time i finally have a bottle of the fine American blend aftershave man i just love that stuff
+Joshua Mclain Arko is really good, I will always have it. The fine American blend is really good, not sure if I'll get it again though...... so many other aftershaves to try.
I am glad you had an enjoyable experience but I prefer to keep the heat with the possible exception on a 100 degree + day with high humidity then I'll go lukewarm otherwise cold water shaves are not for me.
I noticed you were only using one side of the razor before rinsing it off. is that to try and prolong the life of the blade? I am strictly a cold water shaver and love it. I get a much closer shave on my head.
Cincy Shaves yep serious. It goes against everything you ever learned lol. After a hot shower I ice water my face and the rest of the shave is ice cold . Once in a while I go for a hot water shave. Not often.
I have cold water shaved for about 3 months now and for me it is the only way to shave It is not a new idea actually your grandma was probably doing it as in days gone by men did not take the time to haul the water then heat it on the stove For me it is totally refreshing 😃
Brrrrr...no, I am not trying this, but it is good to know that if my water heater dies or I find myself camping by a river (VERY unlikely nowadays), I could still shave.
Yes. I first switch over from warm to cold water, to see if I could see/feel any difference. I think my skin on my throat likes the cold water more then warm water. I even use cold water to soak my boar/badger/horse brushes prior to shaving. Sometimes I run a ice cube over my face after a shave (mostly on a hot summer day).

Cold water shaves are the best , I shave in cold water everyday, never going back to hot water again.
Coldwater shaves are not my thing LOL
Excellent looking shave. Hopefully you try the cold water shave again soon.
+Shaved Weiss I had no idea that you were strictly a Coldwater shaver. That's pretty cool, no pun intended.

+WolfRanger2008 doubt I'll be doing another one anytime soon!

+Shaved Weiss when I rinse, I flip it over and use the other side. I am that person who subconsciously looks for a difference between the sides.
I put a ice pack in my water . This was suggested to me on a forum . Less neck irritation . Works for me
+HOSS304 unbelievable, are you serious?!!!! I guess I just need to rethink my idea of what works when it comes to shaving

+HOSS304 my next one will be hot!
Cincy Shaves it's not for everybody but I get bad irritation on my neck. It doesn't cure all but much much less irritation.
Hey, great video. You ever try the Feather Popular razor?
I have not. I have thought about getting one though. Have you tried one?

+Tim Kennedy it honestly was not near as bad as I thought it would be
I cold water shave about 90% of the time
+Conny Magnusson did you switch from using hot water?
Yes.

Sorry, didn't know this video was over a year old. DUH!
I also hate when I make mistakes like that LOL. We are our biggest critics!
No Shave 😎💈💈😎
