Love my Daniel Boone so much I bought another one for the campsite. My first one is now 8 years old, haven’t replaced a single part yet. Great looking ribs!
Mann ric awesome cook never was a fan of pellet cookin but diggin that gmg you hav me pumped just found out sportsman's warehouse carries gmg . Lookin into gettin 1 thnkz brotha 4 videos
Great cook Ric! Mighty fine cooker ya got there, well built units, rack looked perfect 👌 great cook brother, thanks for sharing, have a great week, you all stay safe!👍👊🍻
Hello! Sorry for the delayed reply. I like using water because I prefer to keep the flavor profiles of the proteins I’m cooking. Apple juice has sugar which I believe will also have a tendency to darken the ribs. I really don’t think it would add flavor at all. I use water to add moisture to ribs, chicken and even Brisket. Seems to work for me😎 Thanks for watching my video and again my apologies for the late reply. 👊🏼
Hello, send me an email to Galindostexasbbq@gmail.com with your address and how many bottles you’d like. I will then get your total cost including shipping and method of payment. Thanks!
The window and interior light will get dirty within 3 cooks or so. Depends on how long your cooks are. I spray it with Citrus safe cleaner and scrape with a razor blade. Doesn’t take long at all. Honestly the window is more of a novelty and not necessary. However since I have a RUclips channel, it makes for cool videos. 😎
That GMG is a beast!! Seems like even when you were up to temp, smoked rolled every time you opened the door! Great looking ribs man!! 🔥🔥🔥 and that Texas trinity is on my shopping list! I bet that bit of onion kick really makes it pop! Great video! 💯💯👍🏻
Looks like you found a winner pellet grill Ric, those bones turned out great! Nice smoke ring and bite off the bone. Also learned you’re the master of the one handed rib wrap hah. Have a great one brother and keep on grillin!
Hello and Thanks for watching! The total cook time was a little over four hours. That was a while back, I mentioned it in the description😎 I had to go back and read it. 👊🏼🍺
Man those ribs look amazing brother, I’d rather have a bunch of ribs over a steak any day! I’m new from TN Grillin’ & Smokin’s channel and I’ve gotta admit I should have been watching all you guys channels a long time ago, man y’all can cook👍😂 Looking forward to checking out some more of your videos!
Yes sir I smashed them buttons after watching this video, I definitely can learn a thing or two from you fellas. Fat boy likes to eat know what I’m saying 👍😂
Question, I have a GMG as well, the only issue I have with the Pellet smoker is that I do not get enough smoke flavor on my Ribs and Chicken as I do with my Fire stick smoker. What type of Pellets did you use?
Hello Sir! I believe I used B&B pellets for this cook. I also like the Lumberjack brand. You can also use a (SmokeTube) I bought one and it helped a lot. But truthfully you will never get the same smoke flavor from any pellet smoker compared to a stick burner. One more tip is you can use real wood chips in a smoke tube for extra flavor. The smoke tubes aren’t just for pellets.
You almost need to have a screen built around your smokers. It will keep the bugs out. Dang they look so delish. Wish I could have a smoker and a Black stone. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing eh :))
Hello Sang! Thanks for watching! The board is from Customcuttingboardsrus.com the owner is a guy named Ian Hemming he’s an awesome guy and will help you no matter what you need. Let him know you saw the board on my channel!!
New smoker in action 😀. Looks like pretty good results too, nice. I did notice that the door leaked a lot of smoke. Did that cause you any noticeable issues? Obviously it got the job done but was just wondering.
No issue that I noticed. I am going to put some high heat gasket tape on the door and see if that makes a difference in taste and color including pellet usage
Not wrapping your grease tray is making me cringe lol I've used my GmG now 3-4 nights a week for almost 3 years. Properly cleaned and maintained they're great smokers!
Hello Sir, you made me scratch my head for a minute. Lol if you go back to the video at the 5:10 mark you can see that the Travis wrapped in foil. I’ve always wrapped my tray, after reading your “cringe” comment I was like,…. No I’m sure it’s wrapped. I went back and watched and yes it’s wrapped as always. I guess I’m just good the way I apply it 😎 Check out my last video I posted last week on how to take care of your pellet smokers. Thanks for watching 🤓
@@RicsBBQSpecialties you're right!! I didn't pay close enough attention ;) Your wrapping skills are awesome because mine you can definitely tell it's wrapped in foil, not nearly as neat as yours!
Why spray with only water when it's a perfect opportunity to add flavor with Apple Cider Vinegar, Apple juice etc. Water is actually washing off any flavor you just put on with the rub, why do that. Add flavor never remove flavor. All you have now id boiled ribs.
Thanks for watching the video. I prefer the natural flavor of the pork without vinegar or sweet juice. The rub was set and not washed off at all. No boiled ribs! lol, that did make me laugh though.
Love my Daniel Boone so much I bought another one for the campsite. My first one is now 8 years old, haven’t replaced a single part yet. Great looking ribs!

@@RicsBBQSpecialties it looks like an awesome set up.
Hi just watching your rib smoking I have a rack on my Jim Bowie right now where do you find the heavy duty foil!?
Hello, I get the foil at Costco or my local grocery HEB. Thanks for watching!
I’m a noob and trying to figure things out. Just curious why you used water instead of apple juice? It ended up looking awesome of course

Thanks Brother! 👊🏼
How's the window holding up, is it a pain to keep clean ... I'm sold on GMG, just not sure about the window

Good looking ribs bro! I love those paper weights you used to hold down the paper towels covering the ribs after you rubbed them too! lol
Thanks Brother ! You have one of those! You should get the rest of the set😎

great looking Ribs. Question, what sprayer is that you have? Do you have link?
Hello Al!
That’s just a garden sprayer. I picked it up at a little hardware store here in Mexico. They sell similar ones at Home Depot or Lowe’s.
@@RicsBBQSpecialties thanks for the quick reply!
What are your thoughts on the push button temp. Controls vs. A dial?
Hello!
I believe the dial temp controlled smokers only get up to 375 degrees.
The digital will control temps up to 500.
I love both my GMG units!
@@RicsBBQSpecialties cool, thanks for the reply! Happy 4th!
That thing look 👀 Legit!
MorningWood Bbq Thanks Woody!

Damn son! They look 👀 like a Money 💰 💴 How’s the taste differences from an off-set?
Well Woody, nothing beats the flavor of an offset. However the flavor was very good. I can see playing with pellet flavors, and adding a smoke tube.
