That cheapo detector has been out for years under different names. It was my first detector,. It nearly put me off. The only way it would pick any thing up is if u held pinpoint down. Garrett's are great. And by putting a nel tornado or similar coil on they become awesome. Always buy brand name
Two years ago I paid $47 for a bounty hunter gold digger. It will hit a dime at 6 inches easy, sometimes deeper. I don't dig regularly but I've already made my money back 30 times over.
@@rchwrchw8901 maybe they work better on different soils, maybe each model is not as reliable as others. Either way these were the results with this machine
Dont forget that its 1/4 the price of the garret. I can imagine that if we compare this garret to some of the 800$ machines it would look just like this. Im not saying the 50$ one is good, or i would chose it (or either the garret) for treasure hunt. Lets be reasonable. Also note that some ppl cannot afford the more expensive ones.
Wondering if the cheap version sensor is placed correctly. If the pin pointer was working properly but depth being off feels like it probably isn't in the right place or angle. As you flatterned the swipe it beeped so I'd have to have a little investig
@@GoAndGarrett I saw that. That would not be enjoyable at all. I will stick with my glitchy Bounty Hunter Pioneer EX compared to that "wish" rubbish... and my machine does not have a pinpoint mode.
I guess you got your money's worth with the "I Wish it was a better detector" model. The tubing between the display and the coil seems kinda flimsy and would be a major weak point. Maybe wrap the whole assembly in gorilla tape?? Hahahahahah
I have my 300i.. love it.. i won't buy never no name detectors.. Maybe someone from Bexhill.. or around can show me more .. i am new with this and i live it:)
Hi Stephen, it just goes to show...you get what you pay for... quality is usually in the price you pay. You could say the same for the presenter...priceless!😜
To be honest it's a difficult one there is only a slight difference in the tone it just takes a little experience. Try a coin and the the bottle too you should notice a slight change. Thanks for watching dude
i did find some coins and a Gold necklace at the beach using a quick shooter. So i guess i came up more than the guy with the Garret not to far away from me.
I want to buy a metal detector but in my town, there are no shops to buy a metal detector. So can you please suggest me some good metal detector from Wish? The price can be maximum 200 euros. Pls reply, I would be very grateful.
Thanks mate, great video!! I am still in the hunt for a cheaper detector happy I took your advice on the previous video and didn’t buy from wish 😅😅 also thank you for the advice on you gave me on the comments in part 1. Hope you and family are safe and well in these difficult times
Yes dude it's why I made these videos many people post on Facebook that they're thinking of buying one or already have. I want people to see how bad it is before they make a bad decision.
@@GoAndGarrett I just ordered a metal detector from Amazon that was under $100. After watching your video I know exactly how to test it and I can compare against the two that you had there to decide if I want to keep it or return it
Thanks for taking the time to get this up here.

I’ve always wondered how (in)effective those cheapies would be. I don’t think I’ll be trading in my nox anytime soon 😂
Worst machine I've seen I think 50$ is 49.99 too much

Wish I seen this video before buying that cheap one. Went to the beach with it yesterday, absolute crap. Definitely going to buy a Garrett.
I so ready to go out metal detecting. Already own 3. Ace 250, atpro, minelab go find 60
Awesome! Happy hunting
For 50$ you can't expect a great result.perheps it's good for kids to get started...great test 👍
What I take from your evaluation is that the Wish is great IF all you want to do is detect surface finds. Thanks Steve.
William Baker works a treat if you keep the pin pointing button held down 🤣

.What do you think of the Chinese Garrett ACE detector, do you recommend it?

Kaplan Family might have to try that one 😂
I do look at the build quality in part one of the review and yes the tubing is horrific it's like it's made of cheese lol
I have the Ace 250, had it 5 years, Nice video !

My 250 is great on the beach dude
What sensitivity is good on them especially on the beach?
Hi Stephen, it just goes to show...you get what you pay for... quality is usually in the price you pay.

Well Stephen. That says it all. You want finds of any kind - then you can put your trust in Garrett 👍
Garrett is best 😎
Great vid Stephen I have a 250 ace my only problem is it tells me coins but when I dig it's a beer can can u help

There’s probably some poor soul out there still looking for some thing with the wish one 😂😂
Buy cheap get cheap... good video mate..Hello from Florida USA
Coker2002 bang on dude! And cheers! Greetings 😎

I love this kind of videos and I'd like to see more comparisons like this with more brands :)

Wish I hadnt bought one of these cheap ones its useless for anything question do you think that's dow to the coil or machine its self?
Go Garrett.......................................
Great video enjoyed well done on the finds
in the air test your not even centered on the coil, that wont work
Garrett 250 would look like a toy next to my 1200 pound detector
Makes me want to do a comparison with my BH tracker IV and Nox 800
That would be interesting! You should do it
The stick to the wish metal detector looks. Fragile
Buen video muy buen tutorial un saludo .Tienes mi like .Deteccion Guanche . Islas canarias👍🏻♥️🇮🇨
Lovely video mate, appreciate the time you took making the video,2 videos 2 wins for the Garrett 👍
ANDY ACE MASTER 300i I appreciate you watching them Andy! Cheers as always buddy! GL&HH
Man alive the $50 machine is awful 😳 great video
I’ll give it another test at the beach just to see what it’s like on the sand 😆 cheers for watching buddy 😎
My question is you just did the same test doing the same thing 🤔 why ? Why did you do the same thing twice
show Garrett
Could you do one on the md-3028
A paper plate on a stick?
😆😆
Wish detector is garbage...Garrett is the way to go

Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching
