- The 2024 IFSC Climbing and Paraclimbing European Championships is scheduled to take place in Villars, Switzerland, from 24 August to 1 September. Climbers from all over the continent will compete in Boulder, Lead, Speed, and Boulder & Lead.

W4 was a bit overcooked for sure. While almost every male athletes seemed to enjoy topping M4
How did Matt not know/wasn't told that eight people instead of the usual six would progress to finals? So strange that he kept commentating on who was in the sixth spot and would maybe be pushed out and thought Anze Peharc was out when he ended in the seventh spot.

He was, but only for US audiences, which was a 30 minute trial thing which showed maybe 3,5 climbs before you had to pay for a subscription, again only if you're from the US.
Would've loved to hear his and Shauna's commentary tho...

Shouldn't this belong to IFSC Europe since it exists ? I was looking there at first, but I prefer everything being on the same channel !
When have they ever done that? No need to confuse everybody else just because you didn't check the channel they've been uploading all comps to for years.
@@mungobestmage For a year, all european cups are uploaded to IFSC Europe. I am not trying to confuse everybody else, if someone confused someone else, IFSC consfused me by creating this other channel that is not needed, but it is not what I was saying...
The thing is, I watched it live on IFSC Europe, and then I was pissed that the finals were on IFSC and private. And now somehow they moved the video between channels, and the lead semis are here too. I really would like IFSC to be consistent.
yeah same, i checked the IFSC Europe account first as well and ended up getting spoiled who wins the comps because it was the first thing that showed up in the shorts of that account. quite frustrating

@@rica3947 Climbing sport, like every sport, stands for the community and the union of all athletes over the planet. Everyone is the same in this sport. Israel and Russia are currently not adhering to the rules of international law and the Geneva Convention. Therefore, Russia is no longer allowed to participate. But why can Israel continue to participate? There are strictly rules and thats very important.
