Too simple?? For us newbies this was "simple" enough, thank you very much! LOL 😁. I just love and adore your style of teaching; all your efforts that you make for us; your great Southern accent; your beautiful Christian spirit; and, of course, Vinnie! 😉. Love this little mini album. You start off with paper bags and it ends up looking like a million bucks! Way to go, Maymay. Love and prayers to you & the fam. 😃💖
Amy, this little mini album really turned out quite cute. You made the comment about hoping it wasn't too simple. In my opinion "Less is More". Some of the mini albums I see on youtube are so embellished that there isn't any room left for pictures so I like your "simple" ways. Those stickers you used are really cute and love the charms!
Ok so its 5 years after this post & I'm just discovering it. I crafted along with you and truly enjoyed making my first mini album paper bag or otherwise . I can foresee many of these in my near future. Thanks.
I love this. I'm so glad someone does crafts that are not so complicated and explains it so it's easy to understand. So far I have my sacks glued together, can't wait to start on just cutting the paper. I'm going to finish this one!
Im making this mini album for a baby shower gift. I'm making it for a baby boy and the tags and inserts are enough for one picture a month. So by the end of the first year it will show how the baby grew for the first year. I'm glad it was so simple because I was able to follow along while making this. TFS!! Love your videos.
I am so enjoying your narration as you build this delightful mini album! You take the time to explain both what you are doing and why you are doing it. I'm learning some new techniques. You do make things look so easy! I've seen a number of albums that only have embellishments on the cover. Adding embellishments on every page takes the whole project up a few steps from that "simple" category and into "Wow! Did I just do that?!" Thanks so much for taking the time to make this 3 part series...much appreciated!!
I loved this tutorial. There is a big difference in something being simple and being detailed. I think you succeeded on both counts! Great job and I will be making one.
This is marvelous. I shall be doing this with residents (I work at a half-way house) so they can make something to give to someone at Christmas without having to spend any money. I made a couple on my own. I got impatient and decorated the front of one before I should have so I have to figure out a closing that will suit. The other I made to see is I could make it without following the video. I love that not only was I able to, it was super easy! Thanks so much.
This turned out magnificent. I love it and I am thinking after I get my grand daughters quilt finished I will do this. Thanks so much for sharing. I enjoyed all three vids.
What a cute book, great ideas and love all the instructions on how to. You do a simple explanation of how to make these projects. . I'm really enjoying your channel, thank you for Shari g!
This series is one of the cutest projects I have seen yet!! I have been taking notes, funny thing was at the end of part 1 I had like 10 pages already and then found out it was series 1 of 3! So I am like WHAT! Funny, I take ALOT of notes. But thank you for taking your time to do these video's they are greatly appreciated.
I really like your closure idea...so easy and cute! Also, thank you, Maymay, for sharing the technique of using ribbon as a charm holder. I tried it, but couldn't figure out how to put the individual charms on so that they looked right. Love it!
Such a cute little mini. Although I won't be making a Christmas album , because I don't celebrate it, this can be used for any theme. Thanks for all the tutorials.
Love it! I think it's awesome that you adapted the closure for the albums you saw being made. Plus we learned how to do another type of closure! God bless.
I saw so many peoples with such cute things on the fronts of their albums and I just knew a belly band would cover all that up, so it challenged me and I love a challenge! Thanks Marji!
This was a really good series, thanks for explaining everything. There are lots of paper bag mini album videos out there and yours was I found the most helpful.
Loved this 3 part series! Absolutely beautiful album...and will definitely be making one soon. Want to try and make one for my cousin to use as a 'Grandma's Brag Book'. I think it would be so cute. TFS
So beautiful!!! I want to do an album, and I probably should start out with something simple, but I am a hard-headed Southern crafter, so I'm going to do one of the others you've done. It will take longer, but I've got Santa purses and Red Doors to make and all the new stitching stamps. WHEW!!! I'm feeling better every day and I know God kept me here for a reason so I'm going to craft all I can. I'm supposed to rest often, but I think coloring with my Spectrum Noir markers, pencils, and the new Colourista's from Spectrum Noir will count as rest. I'm not sure how much I missed while I was sick, but I'm watching all videos again just to be sure. I enjoyed Thursday night October 13 so much. That is one of the first things I'm sure I remember. Hopefully I'll be healthy for a while so I can try to make everything Maymay makes!!! I have a new phone so maybe my pictures will make it to Facebook.
Love the 3 part video's of this project. I followed along with them started to make three on assembly line. ended up finishing one book except the embellishments, in one evening. I'm on my way to HobbyLobby to get some embellishments for all three. I will post on fb when I get them finished. Thank you so very much Maymay. You are such a great teacher. I'd bring you an apple if I could. lol
This is fabulous! It looks beautiful and your videos are educational and entertaining. I've never really felt brave enough to make a mini album before but this is really inspirational. Thank you! :)
I really enjoyed watching your step by step series and picked up a lot of wonderful tips. Personally I'm not a fan of the ribbon closure because dexterity is an issue for me, but I can easily substitute another closure. Please don't feel you have to apologize for being who you are. Take your own advice and "do what you do! :) "
This is an adorable Christmas mini!! I so appreciate your tutorials! I'm going to enjoy making one of these, especially with your guidance! Thank you so much for sharing!😃
Very cute... A thought on the closure ribbon, if you put "stop knots" in it, it's plenty long enough to stay in the holes even when opened without hindering the pages, then they don't need to be continually retreaded ☺️ I love Christmas embellishments and those charms... 😃 👌
For sealing ribbon ends, if it is polyester, use a candle or lighter flame near but not on the ends....for cotton, melt a bit of candle and coat the end!
It's really nice I like it because not much expensive stuff like DIY cutting machine or ink stamp but it's really long if you edit some or some pre arrange like earlier clean the double side tape it will more great
Love this.. so adorable and so easy I know I could even do it..lol I would like to do a recipe one, I could add a couple more bags right??. Thank you so much for sharing....Love your channel.
Thanks so much for all the videos to show how to make this photo album. Enjoyed it. 🙋♀️🦒
Too simple? This is amazing!!! Love it!

Thanks Karen, that is the best part of this project, you have to tell people it was paper bags! lol!
It turned out great! It's just perfect in balance, not too much and not too little. Great tutorial 💕
thanks!
Another fantastic mini from you.....love the ribbon closure!

Thank you! I think it is important to tell the "why" that is how we learn. I appreciate you!
I loved this tutorial. There is a big difference in something being simple and being detailed. I think you succeeded on both counts! Great job and I will be making one.

Ribbon is a cool idea too. 🙋♀️🦒
too cute!! love it.

Very cute... A thought on the closure ribbon, if you put "stop knots" in it, it's plenty long enough to stay in the holes even when opened without hindering the pages, then they don't need to be continually retreaded ☺️ I love Christmas embellishments and those charms... 😃 👌
good idea, Id love to see it if you try it.
LOVE IT...GREAT PROJECT...
Thanks!
For sealing ribbon ends, if it is polyester, use a candle or lighter flame near but not on the ends....for cotton, melt a bit of candle and coat the end!
