You are an excellent teacher!! And also so very patient to take the time to do each step one at a time!! WOW. I really appreciate that. Thank you so much!!
I cannot wait to give this a go. I love the concept of the spine creation. It initially sounded like gobbledy gook, but after watching it twice, it really has caught me. You are one talented lady. Thank you for sharing this project.
I have been watching your tutorials for quite awhile and I truly appreciate you taking the time for being so thorough! I am definitely continue to view your channels!! God Bless you!
OMG! Maymay I did it. When you started folding the scoring lines and adding the tape, I thought no way is mine going to look like hers. But I just paused the video and figured it out. I can't believe it!
I really like that this binding system securely holds each envelope in a "sandwich.". Thanks for taking the time to explain and demonstrate...much appreciated!!
This is so fun following along with you as you create this album and your teaching style is so kind and patient that it makes it a breeze to follow! Thank you so much!! 😁
hi love the tutorial. sitting up in bed [its 6.50] in sa and watching the magnificent rain our first of our summer season. we get very excited about rain in sa thank you regards jean
Maymay, this is the spine I use on my baby albums and it made me crazy! What a great tip to fold it first. Really helps to keep track of those pesky 3/8 in areas! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!. As always you ROCK! Hugs and blessings!
So many parts remind me of the notebook cover you made a while back. Learning pieces at a time will help me understand these harder things! You are a great teacher Maymay! Thank you! Wax on wax off!!
I totally love this mini album. It is just gorgeous! Thank you Maymay for sharing it with us. I am definitely going to use this binding system in my next mini. As tricky as it sounds at first, it is actually not very difficult to execute. Love, love, love it!!!
Oh Maymay, just like everyone said, it was so easy to follow along! Sorry but there is a “but” here lol!! I just ate lunch and really was trying to stay awake, really!! I love it and can’t wait to watch it again and make my own! I just bought the same envelopes and will do it! Thank you for being so patient with us! I saved it so there won’t be any problem..
This was so much fun to watch, I felt like I was watching a magic trick waiting for a piece of card stock to turn into the spine of the book, thank you for always bringing us such creative ideas and teaching us in a way that we can understand.
OK almost everything was back in stock! You sell out so fast! I have remains of a Carta Bella "Hello Fall" I plan to incorporate. This is going to be a special album as we met in the fall and both love fall the most! Living in New England you almost have to. Thank you for the step by step (3 part) work along with you style. Makes it so much easier to create! You have a wonderful eye for symmetry and color. You top the charts of making people want MORE!!!!
Love the album!!! You made a fantastic tutorial, good explanations which really did make sense later. This will be one of my go-to bindings now. Thanks so much! I learn so much from you. Cathy
Really fun. Thank you so much for the easy to follow instructions. The folding of the spine was a bit tricky but because you took extra time with the instructions I did not have any problems. Love the tip on training the paper to stay in place.
I have been so scared to d this type of binding but you were so encouraging. So I am trying it right now. Makes better sense when you actually do it. Not so scary after all. Ty!
Thank you for sharing. I have yet to successfully complete an according style mini binding. I am going to attempt this way to see if it works out. Thanks!
Maymay, I just came across your tutorial and I’m adding it to my “Maymay” library! I think you are too hard on yourself! You have done a great job explaining the process! I can’t wait to try the binding!! Love all of your great work!! Hugs from Chico, Ca. 🥰 - Lupe
Found you for the first time today, part 1 was excellent! I can't wait for the next. I had to order a score board, because there is no way this can be done without it...I know, I've tried a binding like this before when I wanted to make a book with room to grow. I can't wait to try it! Thanks!
Wow... a lot to take in, but so worth it! Can’t wait to try it for Envelope Mini Album for new grandson due in December and use paper to match what I used for his announcement card! LOVE IT
At first I thought Maymay went to adhesive tape, then I saw this was a couple of years ago...... I'm sure you would use Art glitter glue now. Love this.
OMGoodness... so glad you took your time and showed us every step. Can't wait to watch part 2 and 3. Definitely going to have to make this little book. Any suggestions on maybe using old denim jeans for. this little book? Thank you so much Maymay.
Awesome! I will be making this real soon. Will be watching for the next tutorial. You did excellent in explaining it to a T !! Thank you, been a while since you made an album..
I was concerned about not enough pages and was already thinking in my head how I could expand it to 2 sheets; but I am beginning to see sometimes less is more. I can see where I can add a waterfall and have enough room for pictures and not "bulge" the album. Your teaching, by the way, was clearly done. Could you wait to the end to put the tape on the 3/8 separation parts?
Thank you so much for the very detail explanation! I have a slight disability and need the 'sit facing the paper' type instruction. So many other videos are like the adults in a Charley Brown cartoon... waaa waaa waaaa.
Love it, Maymay! I'm wondering - you'd beable to use this method for a journal (sew the pages and then sew them into the spine - before covering the spine).
I love the way you show us how to do things. You explain it completely for us to understand. Thanks for that. If you don't have chipboard can you use corrugated cardboard like from a box? Would that be about the same thickness?
Gold Anchor Designs hello, you can use are glitter glue, a suggestion would be to use clothes pins or binder clips to hold the glue sets. Thanks Tamatha Social Media CSR
Thank you for this free hinge system. We would not want claims of copyright infringement to be brought against us by the copyright nazi. I know, please forgive the sarcasm.
You are an excellent teacher!! And also so very patient to take the time to do each step one at a time!! WOW. I really appreciate that. Thank you so much!!

You are not a simple woman. This is complex but you did a wonderful job explaining how to do it. Thank you so much.
You make things sooo easy to understand if you didn’t explain so plainly I would not have even tried thank you you are a good teacher
I have been watching your tutorials for quite awhile and I truly appreciate you taking the time for being so thorough! I am definitely continue to view your channels!! God Bless you!
I'm going to love this one! Nobody explains and teaches as clearly as you do! Looking forward to the next steps!
OMG! Maymay I did it. When you started folding the scoring lines and adding the tape, I thought no way is mine going to look like hers. But I just paused the video and figured it out. I can't believe it!
I am so proud of you! Really, it can seem hard but we can do hard things! I promise it gets easier from here on out!
everything I know about paper crafting I have learned from you.your channel is such a blessing to my life everyday,I love whatever you share!
I really like that this binding system securely holds each envelope in a "sandwich.". Thanks for taking the time to explain and demonstrate...much appreciated!!
If your a simple woman than so am I! Thank you for the detailed explanation without speeding through and really showing every part.
This is so fun following along with you as you create this album and your teaching style is so kind and patient that it makes it a breeze to follow! Thank you so much!! 😁

OMG MayMay I Love Love Love this ideal I am sure going to try this. Thank you so much for sharing. Girl You Are The Best! Love you and all your idea!
I’m so glad you took the time to really show each part as it makes it easier to follow:) thank you:)
You are a fantastic teacher. Thanks for taking the time to explain everything in detail!
Thank you for sharing. I have yet to successfully complete an according style mini binding. I am going to attempt this way to see if it works out. Thanks!
So excited to do a mini album with you! I like the way that you sandwiched the envelopes between the flaps to make them even sturdier.
It's going to be adorable! You are doing a great job of showing us how to do it! 👍😄
Wow this is going to be fun! Looks fantastic!
Maymay, I just came across your tutorial and I’m adding it to my “Maymay” library! I think you are too hard on yourself! You have done a great job explaining the process! I can’t wait to try the binding!! Love all of your great work!! Hugs from Chico, Ca. 🥰 - Lupe
The binding is really cool it looks like a reverse hidden hinge! AWESOME!

This is great! Can't wait for part 2! Thanks! God bless!!
Cute album! I got lost with accordion folds. This is always the part I get stuck on...will watch again! Thank you Maymay!
At first I thought Maymay went to adhesive tape, then I saw this was a couple of years ago...... I'm sure you would use Art glitter glue now. Love this.
Love this!! I also found the envelope measuring tip at the beginning helpful!! thanks for making everything so easy to understand!
You did a great job teaching this binding method Maymay!
Once you put the adhesive tape on it, it made sense!! Thanks for this video! Not sure I'll ever use it, but am enjoying watching it!
you are extremely good at explaining instructions along with show and tell ♥♥♥
This is my favorite envelope album so far! THANK you for sharing!
Love this! Going to gather everything and make it along with you! Need to get the envelopes and choose paper! Great video so far!😀

Maymay, you are an excellent teacher!💜
I love when you don't cut your work showing everything. Thanks
I absolutely agree!! It makes it so much easier.
OMGoodness... so glad you took your time and showed us every step. Can't wait to watch part 2 and 3. Definitely going to have to make this little book. Any suggestions on maybe using old denim jeans for. this little book? Thank you so much Maymay.

Thank you so much for the very detail explanation! I have a slight disability and need the 'sit facing the paper' type instruction. So many other videos are like the adults in a Charley Brown cartoon... waaa waaa waaaa.
You are a wonderful teacher.
Love the binding!
Fantastic tutorial. Thank you. Wishing you a super week. Hugs Susan
