And, frankly, i have heard much worse recordings that were sold for actual money. For what it is, it's okay. And i think, doing the cover of the song that made Kala "famous" on their own album release show, was a fun idea. Just relax, and if you don't like it, just watch another video or listen to another band.
Obviously, a lot of fans here. I can barely hear her in the mix, but as a musician of over 50-years, all I hear is sharp, flat, flat, flat, sharp, flat, sharp flat, etc. I'm assuming that she has a very nice voice that I simply cannot hear. The band is beautifully loose and/or tight, depending on what the moment calls for and they sound excellent! Holy...that lead singer is insanely hot.
This is the nicest most positive comment I've gotten saying they can't hear her. Genuinely thank you! Her voice is gorgeous and I recommend you listen to some of their songs! They're really great at what they do and are so so nice.
You can't hear her because the person filming is up front. Usually when your in front of thr stage the PA is off the sides and the only sound you get are the blasting guitars from the amps and the drums
Thanks for the video. The comment about her lip syncing made me laugh. ✌️ Needs little Geoffrey with the sticks (claves) to really be complete though. Imo. 🌹 Shadowa, sounds good. 👍
I like the elongated intro, good set of improv. However, I do feel like this band, or singer, is not giving off the Tool feeling, both vocally as well as energy. The bit before the final vocals also felt very foreign.
@@stephenurban9880 The recordings not that shit? Not particulary sure what your problem with it is because this is the one I was trying to be a little focused on. If it’s the stuff infront of them, not my fault. Best place I got to stand. If it was the height of the camera, also not my fault I’m a 5’0 young teen. I’m genuinely lost on where it doesn’t give them justice? This wasn’t really recorded to have people see it, it’s mainly for my memories. I just only post my full recordings of their songs in a way of sending them to the band without it saying “file too long.” It’s obviously not going to be 4k great quality award winning!
How rude, this was a very fun rendition to watch. Playing a Tool song with their own style, with a slightly jazzy style. It was tight and as a teen I would have been very impressed. 46 and 2 is a high level song, not the easiest Tool song. Maybe just shut the fuck up ey!
I'm less irritated with how she chose to sing it (thought I have so many questions on why she placed high and low parts where she did) as I am at the drummer just skipping basic fill structure that, even with is limited setup, could've been easily achieved. Tool's a hard cover. Granted. You can take it and make it into a totes different version, that's your own thing, and I applaud that. However, they sounded as if trying to cover it straight on. You'll never please everyone with what you do with Tool, because you're simply not Tool. That said, man... meh. The talent is there. Just poor style choices. So many comments have been about how hot she is. Yes, a very attractive woman. That does not excuse what she just did to that song. She should of stuck to what she did on her first attempt. And for Buddha's sake, get THAT drummer back@

@@caitjinx Poor thing. It really is trying hard, huh? Maybe in a few years, after somehow making it through elementary school, gaining more experience and, most importantly receiving a total brain transplant, it might be able to compete. Not likely but I do like to offer hope to the doomed.
