One thing to clarify. Your definition of PAF is wrong. PAF is the actual UI. Notice how the settings app and all official apps have a similar UI. That's PAF. BHBB Uses PAF too. Which is how it also looks similar.
Thanks for the information. It does make sense actual UI applications that are baked into the core system firmware e.g., settings app, music app, etc uses PlayStation Application Framework. Wouldn't the "download" notification would be utilizing PAF as well? Since that function is used from the PSN store & just download updates for said game.
@@NagatosRevenge No. I do not the official download system. Since it does not suppourt newer TLS and https standards. I just made my own from scratch using notifications. Hence the issues about enlarged mem mode termination and just 1 download showing at a time. Oh and another thing, The app will re-download the index everytime. It's just a small text file so it doesn't take long. The "Extracting" Part is the icons. It does it every 6 hours or so depending on your settings which you can change in db options.
Is there any way that you can change a PSN avatar from Vita? I know of the PS3 method but I don’t have mines anymore and I know of the PS4 method but I wanna still play online sometimes :/
When I say change a avatar I’m referring to implementing a custom avatar of ones choosing to the vita somehow and having it upload on all consoles publicly.

Sadly no, PS3 is the only machine where you can inject custom EDAT avatars to your account.
