Okuma has come a LONG way over the years

I use Okuma Reels exclusively for certain types of fishing. Yellow Fin Tuna, are my favorite. No other reel can take the long hard drag requirements. I run hollow braid 100#, not 25# mono???

Does the handle wiggles? I just received my 30 and the handle wiggle little bit. Is that normal?

I wonder how much 100lb spectra it would hold. Or 80lb spectra it would hold. I want the 50 size reel and 30 size.

There is about 800 yards of 100/lbs on my 20 with a little room to spare. If you really wanted you could squeeze another 100 yards on there, but I haven’t been spooled, yet! 🎣

Nobody puts lightweight Mono on an Okuma 20II...My Okuma 20II-SEa hold 100 # hollow braid. You need to go fishing for Yellowfin in order to understand that reel..

.......to be fair.....he never said he was putting mono on......he was just reading the line capacity, but you knew that.
