I hope these stars know that revealing their struggles with scripts/producers/cultural inaccuracies on set is such a helpful and honorable thing to do. It's clear that these actors are knowledgeable and each have their own impressive paths - I am rooting for you each all the way.

CBC renewed it. They were happy to have a sixth season. Sadly we’re not gonna to get a proper ending because of the creators/producers. Perhaps they can be convinced to give us that sixth season. It’s really unfair of them to pull this now. There is petition out there.

Just discovered this show and cant get enough! Everyone is really great but Mr. Kim's Indian friend is the best imo! He really cracks me up whenever he shows up lol they have great chemistry!!

Sad to see the show is ending, and it will be missed. I feel it was the best comedy that CBC produced for a very long time, and I worked there for 36 years prior to retiring in 2020.
Just finished season 5 on Netflix (it came very late in my country), very,very sad knowing that the show was cancelled. It's a very funny comedy with tons of heart. I really hope for the best to all of the casts and i hope Ins Choi could come up with even better show in the future. I'd give Stray a chance if it ever come to Netflix

We NEED 6 seasons and a movie! Please, these characters deserve proper closure. Jung and Appa must reconcile. Janet, Kimchee, Jung, and yes Shannon must become successful in their own rights. Eomma needs to conquer her MS. After everything they went through and their obvious feelings, who really believes Jung and Shannon were going to remain broken up? These people have been welcome in our homes for 5 seasons. We love them like family. We the fans as well as the characters deserve a real heartfelt ending to this endearing show.
I loved this show and was sad to see it go. It’s one of those shows that can go on and on like Seinfeld. You can literally start off anywhere and enjoy it. ❤
