You make that beauty sing! Great playing and terrific demo.
Yes, He does!! Jesus saves! And I'm SO glad!!
You gotta love a good Strat... nothing like them!
This axe is def set up for those jazz runs!
I love your playing. Wonderful guitar, nice Sound!
john cruz is the master at relics
Great playing !
Fender makes my favorite guitars in the world. They make unbelievable quality in Mexico, Japan and the United States for varying prices, but very consistent quality levels. So with this being said, who would fucking spend $8,000 dollars on this?
watched/l istened to a number of modern strat reviews. this one sounds the best. to what i was hearing when i played my pre-L in the mid 60s. (player notwithstanding). j.
Is that a mint green, a aged or cream pick-guard?
All that 1961 detail and the pickguard is from a later mid 60's design.
+Tom H I saw three Custom Shop '59 Teles at the Redmond Wa. Guitar Center "lock and Key" room. They all had '63 bridge plates.
+Tom H Here is another thing strange about Fender. When they came out with the 57-62 Strat pickups, the based them on a '63 pickup they destroyed to copy it. So why where they not 57-63 pickups?
+James Krys ~ Makes you wonder what they are thinking ?
This isn't meant to be a spot on copy of a 61. There are some little tweaks to it.
@@jameskrys5286 probably an early 63. Fender liked to do revamps in the middle of the year rather than the beginning.
sound similar to Fender Rory sig. maybe cause id 61s pickup.
What? Over $7,000.00! No way!
i can clearly see you are influenced by stevie ray vaughan's playing! Good job
whats the song played at 1:08?! someone please tell me, i've been searching it for weeks !!! i cant just find it
Stevie Ray Vaughan's Mary had a little lamb
why is it a 61 relic? the custom shop was founded in 81. so all custom shop guitars are at least from the 80s.
Very nice...but $7,840!!!??? Unrealistic price and out of reach of pretty much anyone I know.
+ROdi 53 Fender are a bunch of cheeky bastards charging this much money for a fucking Strat which is such a simple guitar . What a fucking rip off there is no way this sounds or plays any better than an American Standard.
+dill doe Fender charges $$$$$ for a Strat because people will pay $$$$$ for a Strat. You need to take a business course.
+John Q. Public Finally someone with some sense.
+MrTubeyWoobey No it hasn't. That neck and body is CNC off the same line as everything else.
This strat is handmade by John Cruz (the greatest masterbuilder of fender) i have the chance to try one of his création and... god ! Just the best instrument i have ever player in my all life -> 7K was the price and for me That s still a dream... but if i have the money, this guitar would be home since that day i tried it ! Don't tell "my american standard is the best or my mexican strat made the same sound" simply not true, you have just never played a john cruz fender. For me his guitar are better than a real série L strat
Hi man, I just wanted to know : For how long have you been playing guitar?
kaputo234875 probably since the dawn of Time
I was expect for neck od sound but it never came 🤧
Preciosa!
Custom shop huh! Guitar sounds nice enough, but the E string is hanging off the fretboard.
Frank Young it's not it's just your perception. I could have sworn I answered you already, either you deleted my response or you go around posting the same comments on other videos.
string may have been a bit close but it wasn't hanging off. a lot of new strat necks will shift a bit in shipment. no big deal... tighten the neck back up in neck pocket, make sure the screws are good and tight and back in business. trust me, the tolerances on the new custom shop strats are FAR better than they were on the old strats.
ibanez blazer 81 let me forget the custom shop
I can understand a Gibson Les Paul being worth multiple thousands of dollars, but a bolt-on neck assembly line parts-o-caster that could be assembled by just about anyone...for the most part there's no special magic that the Master Builders or anyone else is doing. You could buy something from All-Parts, Warmoth, USA Custom Guitars, assemble the parts yourself and, if you don't have the how how or the tools, you could have the nut cut and the frets leveled, crowned and polished by a luthier and it would cost thousands less than a "Custom Shop" and you can have it built to your own specs. Quality will be as good or even better.
Dear lord!!!
He sound like a tad bit Eric Jonson
Yes he is playing allot of Johnson style licks every time he has a strat.
i fail immensely to comprehend why it was not an authentic copy...i mean compound my arse while yer at it
did they do that to the G Moore copy? I bet not...
.....It s easy to hear .....the original hast more strength ...a bit more power ,..and a bit more harmonie...everybody could hear it
it is so .....and dry to make the new ones better ....in future.....
No jumbo frets....what a fucking shame !!
it's amazing how this man is unable to demo all of the 5 position when showing a strat. every time.
...not bad ....but ....the original sound better ....
is there no way to make what you done in former times.....?
Fender is a fucking joke!!!
How so?
And what's not? Squier?
